IL, Murphysboro - 06.30-7.2.06- UnderGroundSound *REVIEW*

i definetly took some shit with from that shindig! the kind of feeling that keeps me in this massive, mainly, but also a shit ton of posion something or other, and tick bites, but id do it again 20 times in a row to have that much fucking fun surrounded by lovely ravers catching a right nasty beat down! fuck ya!

i thought everything about the spoololife village was dope! especially all the dj throwing down the gan sets, i would like to thank all involved, as if it was not for any one of us, the shit wouldnt have been nearly as completely dope as it was. But, i would like to extend a special thanks to the man that, in my opinion was super trooper status all weekend.

and the award goes to...........................

sea monkey,

dude you got my respect and admiration! stay real!

thats what the fuck im talkin about folks!
big up yourselves!

Aww. You guys are too much. Everyone there really pulled together and made it all happen, and despite the stress of getting everything set up in the hot sun and then having to move our tents once they were all staked down, everyone kept their cool. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. This was truly one of the best party experiences I've had in a long time. And hey, this time I made it home with all of my equipment in tact! I even found that 1/4" to XLR cable that was missing when I had to pack up at 5:00 AM to go back to work in the real world.

besides a few major fuckups in my set i had the time of my life... my first outdoor party... an experience that will live with me forever... John B totally made my weekend... sound was amazing... there is some pics in my myspace blog... It was good meeting you AC. MD and Sea Monkey good seeing you guys again like always, thanks for having me out Jimmi... it was greatly appreciated... much <3

Ok, so...I spent a shitload of money on tickets and gas, unintentionally pissed off the owner, scorched in the sun, pulled two ticks off of me, and got poison ivy...

TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

wow. The breaks djs let it loose. Met one cat from st louis I think. Spun one the best sets Ive ever heard. Mainly cause I had half the traks at the crib on wax. SOme breaks dj from spoolife ripped it too. Third year in a row and it just keeps on getting better. much props.

It's amazing to actually hear Kenny's set as posted above by SeaMonkey, while comparing himself in his own bio to the likes of Tiësto, Ferry and Armin HA!

You see, I take Trance very seriously... And you're definitely a joke! Tssssssss

:/

I compare myself to High Contrast, London Elektricity, and Cyantific - minus the fucking amazing mixing skills. =D

theres no ego and theres definately a difference between style - ie track selection which is what im refering to.....and my actual mixing skills is no where near perfection...... im learning and working toward really strong solid skillful mixing. as does everyone else. thanks....

"You're always learning" that's your excuse for everything. Which is the most pathetic excuse a DJ could ever say.

Everyone "learns" BEFORE they perform somewhere in public. Go back to your bedroom and "keep learning" kiddo.
