I was kinda disappointed when I saw the flyer design. I like putting new and interesting flyers from parties I've been to on my apt. walls. (as people who have been to my place know) This one is going to pretty much match my Zoolu one. :( I was hoping for something with a new and fresh design.
 
when are people leaving... i'd like to get a caravan going possibly...? Plus I shure the hell don't know where i'm going...

ive received bullitins from chartered booze busses coming in from Nebraska, and a couple of other states that reinforces how big this is getting.....
 
Looks like we are probably going to head down on Friday. We got there mid day on Saturday a few years ago and had a hell of a time finding a place to camp. So I'm thinking the eairly we get there the better.
 
Yeah i was kinda dissappointed in the flyer design too, but if im not mistake Jimmy designed the flyer? I think thats why it looks like every other flyer hes done. Im just glad i can make out a few of the words because normally you cant read shit on his flyers.

This quite cute.

Actually, I'm impressed with the flyer.... though I didn't design it. Yes, I use tiny print from time to time.... but it is readable. Extremely so. Now you may have to focus your vision... but trust me... that shit is high res.... so it's there to be read... if your sense of vision is... advanced enough to read it.

Question being.... which is insufficient... type size... or vision strength? If one challenges the senses regularly... the sense will grow more keen... and your perspective of the world arround you will thus change... allowing never before realized figments of reality to be deemed applicable for your considderation.

This flyer... I actually like the charcoal sketch. I like it's simplicity as well. It gives it a more organic essence... which is appropriate considdering the nature of the concept.

Heading toward your comment... however... I want you to know personaly... how much I appriciate your feedback about my designs. I actually want to hear all different perspectives of the work.... this gives me a greater understanding of how the audience responds and interacts with the media. It "Challenges" my sense of design... and assists in advancing my level of design skill... which in turn... I can apply to new designs to challenge the senses of the audience... i.e. people such as yourself.

Hey man not a problem at all. I like to give feedback for all things because thats how new designs and techniques come along that are better than the last. I enjoy new radical flyer designs and all that jazz, but there is one MAJOR thing a flyer has to accomplish regardless of the environment or settings. And that is to dessimiate information clearly and easily. I dont think anyone should have to train their eyes different and teach themselves how to read shit that should be legible and clear in the first place. When I cant even make out the DJs or information from a flyer in a city I have lived in for over 10 years, there is a problem. Not to mention when everyone I hand a flyer to asks me the same thing, to only I can reply "Not sure, didnt design the flyer, couldnt tell ya."

I think you should first work on making sure people can actually get the information they need from a flyer without some great technique or secret decoder ring you mail ordered from a grass hut in kaziqstan. That is why a flyer is put out in the first place, as a means of getting information to a certain crowd to accomplish an objective. After thats done, then you can work on new and interesting designs.
 
Now as far as the party goes, we are heading out Friday morning! I cant wait! Gonna head to the store this week and pick up some more goods for the trip. Just counting down the days
 
For me... Infected Mushroom is a huge inspiration.. I recall hours spent with the headphones pressed up to my ears and just getting completely and utterly lost in their music :) I can't wait to see others enjoying their music as much as I have, can't beat that shit.

o yeah buddy i just bought my slot on the bus,im fucking PUMPED...come party with us kids from lincoln i guarantee youll have a good time...infected mushroom is gonna rock my fucking world! if they play elation station i will probably die from happiness.
 
Since timeslots havent been posted, I am assuming Infected Mushroom is playing on Friday night correct?

Because they are playing in Philly on Saturday night July 1st. It would be kind of hard to play 2 live shows on the same night 1000 miles away.

Thats great if they are, I was wanting it split up something like that.
 
Man I hope they're playing on saturday... Me and my crew always get a hotel the friday before =\.

And why are there only half as many stages on the flyer as there were last year?
