Can you take your own beer (can) in the gate or do have to buy a 7dollar beer in the gate? This is going to make or break my weekend any many others.
 
As far as we know no glass bottles are allowed inside the gate...and that is the only stipulation we have heard as far as alcohol goes. Assuming that you are of age to drink of coarse.

yes, but it is also not his event. so, asking the event promoters would better than asking the stage promoters given the downfall of what's happened already. ;)

it's a festival. are you really surprised? there was a time at DEMF where they made you throw the shit you brought with you in the trash cans, so i guess i'm really not all that surprised.
 
Just checked the Aurora, Ill forecast and it's suppose to rain from 5am Fri. to 5am Sat. At this point I don't think it's worth it. 8hr drive (there and back.) The venue does look tempting cause some of it is covered but the party will prob. turn into one big sloppy mess. Rumor has it that the guy who is taking over the M.I.A stage is expected to pay his own entry. So he obviously won't have passes for his dj's/M.C.
