O.K basically 2 years ago I was at 110kg. I started going for walks/jogs, only because I'm so unfit I can't run for more than 3 minutes at a time...
and ate healthy for a few months. got down to 95kg before suffering from depression for a short period and starving myself (not intentionally, just had no appetite) down to ~82kg. Since then I've put some weight back on and I'm currently at 95kg. I'm 179cm tall (5ft 11")
Not only do I want to lose weight, I want to get FIT. I want to be able to run for more than 20 minutes at a time. I've never in my life been able to go for a short sprint without being puffed out. I've already started eating healthy again. Water only and cutting all the junk food out. I might have a pizza or something once a week, but that's no biggie.
Anyone got any tips for this? I was thinking of just doing the same thing I did 2 years ago. Go for a walk with set jogging points in between (aka. start running from this tree, stop running at that light pole :D LOL)
Once I lose weight and become fit, I want to start building some muscle and start doing Muai thai. but that's no biggue, just want to focus on getting fit for now.
What's the best way? and is there anything other than walking/running out there to improve my cardio? Any foods to avoid? I know I should avoid pastas and rice before bed.
Thanks =)
