Opioids I really do not understand the appeal of percocet

I did Percocet once because that was all that was on the menu, its just oxycodone it feels the same, literally people talk about doing oxy and Percocet like they are different drugs like the only difference is that percocet has acetaminophen which will fucking rape your liver
each percocet at all doses has over 300 milligrams of acetaminophen that will fucking abuse your liver

Ya percs will fry your liver. I was sick once and took 25 percs in a day with no cew cause i was a fucking moron. My liver is ok thankfully

Oxy ir's are wher its at imo. I used to get the 10mg oxy ir's i loved them. Can eat as many as you need without worrying about your liver

Perks in Canada are TEC’s (5mg of Oxycodone and 325mg acetaminophen) could white scored TEC

Oxy-IR 5/10/20mg tablets rock next to original green CDN 80’s (the US version of OC 80’s) …..and those blue long OC 160’s fuuuuck Id kill for those 160’s back in the day

Only if you take it in obscene quantities. Like, the same max dose of acetaminophen is 4000mg/day, which is 13 percocet (staying 100mg under, rather then 200mg over).
So I guess if you have low or no tolerance it's good? Like, I believe you can get Percocet 10/300's? So that still 130mg Oxy per day and that will get you very high (like, probably be too much and make you sick) if you are opioid-naive or have low tolerance.

Percocet and all other opioid-with-acetaminophen meds aren't a thing in my country* but I HAVE had Percocet (the 10/325s I think?) and, yeah, even several of them didn't do shit, really.
I actually got a (slightly) better buzz from 6 x 10mg Norco's (or it might have been Lortab...same thing) than I did from 6 x 10mg Percocet, despite Oxycodone being 1.5 times stronger than Hydrocodone.

*Except you can get some OTC with Codeine. Like Codeine/Acetaminophen 8/500's, Codeine/Asprin 8/300s and Codeine/Ibuprofen 12.8/200s. Oh and Dihydrocodeine/Acetaminophen 7.4/500s.
You can also (rx only) get Codeine/Acetaminophen 15/500s and 30/500s and Dihydrocodeine 10/500s, 20/500s and 30/500s.
No "Strong" opioids at all, though.
I feel like adding acetaminophen to opioids is so insidious because they KNOW addicts are gonna take unsafe doses of like Percocet, Lortab, Norco etc where they WOULD have been fine with the amount of Hydrocodone/Oxycodone they were taking, put the Acetaminophen will fuck their organs.
Like, I've seen episodes of A&E's Intervention where people take like 20 Vicodin a day...which isn't THAT much Hydrocodone (especially if it's the 5mg pills) but over time that Acetaminophen will be killing them. One episode (which I believe the person was being hyperbolic or she'd be fucking dead) - S07E09 Danielle - she said she took up to FIFTY Percocet a day. They didn't specify the dose, but they looked like the 5/500s to me...which is 25 GRAMS of Acetaminophen a day (she did look like shit tbf, just really pale and unhealthy), or another episode - S14E02 Dana - where she said that at one point she took 100 Vicodin a day :/


EDIT: Some people ARE sensitive-as-fuck or opioid naive. I remember in school when I was 16ish, my friend was having particularly severe menstrual cramps and she'd taken Naproxen and Acetaminophen but they hadn't helped at all, so I gave her ONE Codeine 15mg and she was buzzzzzzed lol. Not placebo affect, either. I mean, she wasn't fucked up or anything, but like, smiley and slightly "floaty" and said she felt really chill and a little out of it.

EDIT EDIT: Actually, It MAY have been a Codeine 30...but I think it was a 15.
 
You're suppose to take 2-4 pills at same time for heroin withdrawal, or 2 pills in the morning and 2 in the evening to function like u function while using heroin everyday
 
Ya, that’s why they make Oxy-IR tablets…..no acetaminophen in them, just oxycodone and excipients

Percocet are good for opioid naive patients who require 1-2 tablets or 4 max daily.

I didn’t want my liver subjected to daily acetaminophen so I requested Oxy-IR 5mg & OxyContin 10mg …..then switched to Hydromorph-Contin XR 9mg & Dilaudid IR 2mg …..now currently Methadone 125mg daily + Methylphenidate 50mg Ritalin …a nice oral Speedball plus a benzodiazepine and I’m great. Especially after my weekend LSD tab Fck I love LSD …6 hours after while still glowing that oral speedball & Benzo is pure bliss

Even when i had no tolerance percs and oy in general just didnt do it for me. First time i had percs was when i had my wisdom teeth taken out. Im in Canada and i remember the techs. I first took 3 of them and it helped the pain mildly. I was pissed off cause everyone raved about percs. I told my friend i had percs and he was like you lucky fucker.

When i went back to the dentist i told him the percs really didnt help and he gave me demerol. That fucked me right up lol. Was my first really blisful opioid experience. I mixed percs with the demerol and that was good.

My fav opiate is dilaudid. IV dilaudid is to good. I ran up such a massive tolerance on that shit.
 
Demerol is amazing apparently due to it possessing dopaminergic stimulant properties

Along with being an Mu-Opioid agonist it’s a DAT / NET reuptake inhibitor……so Demerol basically is a Speedball…like shooting Cocaine & Heroin at once, in a clean Demerol tablet

Demerol & Oxycodone together, Yaaaaa……thats solid
 
If you think people eating 6+ percocets a day is bad you should have seen the stuff the idiots here got up to. They'd snort yellow school buses (10mg/300mg oxycodone/Acetaminophen) all day. They'd have nostrils clogged with binders and acetaminophen and somehow manage to hoover up more. They'd even snort the old 10mg/750+ mg tablets that used to be on the market that contained hydrocodone and I believe there was an oxycodone variant as well. They pulled those from the market years ago due to them causing liver damage in legit pain patients.

There were names for all the different kinds of opioid+acetaminophen pills. I can't remember the all now but one I always liked was "speckle berries". It was the 7.5mg hydro/300mg acetaminophen white tablets with little colored beads in them. Then there were the round percocets which I haven't seen in many years and the very large yellow old school buses that I haven't seen in about 2 decades now.

Those made up the majority of pills people snorted here back in the day. It was rare to see anyone with a non-combination pill because those were harder to get prescribed and they cost more on the street compared to the combination tablets which were dirt cheap.

At one point pretty much everyone here had a prescription for combination opioids and xanax. When I was actively using I had a long contact list of people I knew and I knew when all of them filled their prescriptions. A bunch would come in on the 1st and 3rd week of every month usually within days of each other. So you'd never run out and $20 would buy you more than you could take in a day. You could spend $100 and be good for the entire month even with a heavy tolerance. Even the old school OCs that you only had to lick the coating off of were dirt cheap along with stuff like roxis. For $5 you could black yourself out on xanax for days (when people even bothered to charge money for them. Most people gave them away for free).

I was really shocked when I moved out of my home town and found out what pills were selling for everywhere else in the country.

But the good times couldn't last forever. By 2015 or so things changed over night. People started buying up all the scripts in bulk. You couldn't find anything for the last 7-14 days of the month. People were driving here from several states away to buy up stuff in bulk so they could take it back to their home state and make a massive profit. It wasn't long after that the doctors here started getting arrested for over prescribing. Now they won't give you anything even if you have cancer.

I flew high on percocets for over 10 years. 6-10 tablets a day most of the time. At the very least 4. I'd nod out most every night. My liver is probably raped from processing all that acetaminophen over the years. I'm embarrassed to say that I snorted them to. But that's how people shared them and I wasn't going to let free oxycodone pass me by. The culture here was like that. People would crush up a 10mg percocet and share it on 4-6 heads. It's stupid I know because you aren't even getting enough to get high. But that's how things were here for years.

I once saw someone make the mistake of snorting a percodan. Which is a combination pill with aspirin in it instead of acetaminophen. He tried to hide it from the rest of us and snorted it in the bathroom. We all heard him cry out in pain and then he spent the next 30 minutes or so trying to blow it back out of his nose. His nose was running horribly and bleeding.

There really isn't anything great about oxycodone unless you have chronic pain. Well that's not totally true they make you not give a fuck about life in general. We all only got started with them because they were free when we were going through high school. They were so worthless people handed them out to anyone that wanted some and by hand out I mean give you a handful.

A guy randomly gave me an entire sandwhich bag full of 10mg percocets one day at school. I was really popular that day. There were a bunch of other pills in there to (mainly xanax). I gave a handful to some girl I was trying to impress and they had to roll an ambulance in for her by last peroid because she was ODing in the middle of class. I didn't find out until the next day. Nice girl she didn't rat me out and wasn't even mad about it.

All my friend wanted for that bag of pills was a half quater of dirt weed. I regularly traded joints of bap weed for handfuls of pills. I didn't even want the pills back then I usually gave them away and maybe ate one now and again. I didn't understand the appeal of opioids until a year or so later. Someone twisted my arm to give them a couple of joints but they didn't have any money. They traded me an OC80 for it. They said "trust me you'll like it" and told me to lick the coating off, crush it and snort half of it. Later that night I did it out of boredom and before long I was drooling on myself. I nodded for hours, came to at some point, snorted the rest and nodded off to sleep. I didn't know what was in that pill but I knew I liked it better than any drug I'd tried before. That's what led me into over a decade of opioid use and why I became a full blown junkie.

I got a hold of some "old new stock" so to speak of the 160s in the early 2000s. Felt blessed to cross that off the list of holy grail bucket list drugs. Also blessed I got to try so many obscure older opioids, all the old fentanyl stuff LONG before any of this was a problem, and all the oxymorphone formulations. Also got to use nembutal by the bottle full. Just wish I could get methaqualone and Miltown...

I have alot of experience with demerol and its not like a speedball at all. In prescribed doses its actually quite sedating. At higher doses is when the toxic metabolite norpethidine kicks in and you get the stimulant and anticholinergic effects. I got these effects atleast once from taking demerol at high doses for longer then 3 days. Not fun at all

Oxy and demerol is pretty nice i was prescribed both percs and demerol for wisdom teeth surgery

When I was a teenager of about 15 or 16, I got a hold of a giant bottle of Demerol and took it in obscene doses for a few days. I don't really recall anything negative, but I did find it quite euphoric at the time. Was pretty good stuff considering I got like 120 pills for free!
And oxycodone is my favorite drug other than oxymorphone. Oxycodone would be my "if you were on a desert isle..." drug.
 
Yes, I absolutely LOVE Oxycodone & Ritalin (Methylphenidate)

Oxycodone for me, was waaayyyy more pleasurable, and orally at that…..than IV Hydromorphone and illicit IV Heroin from 20+ years ago…which actually was really Heroin as my urine analysis came back positive for 6-MAM & Morphine, the 2 active metabolites of the “pro-drug” Diacetylmorphine (Heroin)

Oxycodone was just pure euphoric sex in my CNS ……never forget that overwhelming euphoric bliss …..which was very close to the euphoric bliss I got from oral Ritalin (Methylphenidate)

Tried Adderall 30mg XR, Vyvanse 40mg (Lisdexamfetamine) and even Dexedrine IR……somehow for me, oral Methylphenidate was significantly euphoric dopaminergic stimulant

An amazing oral Speedball for me is Oxycodone & Ritalin…..add Xanax bar and Lyrica 300mg and id be enjoying mixed drinks while smoking premium Belmont cigarettes

Ive ne er mixed oxy and ritalin before but morphine combined with ritalin is great. Keeps you pain free and alert
