ADHD, that's been a word of the day. This post about evolving the ADHD understanding was interesting.
It's the bullshit of the century overall, but I definitely have it and it definitely runs in my family, with all the symptoms you've come to expect, and all the other medical ailments that it can provide willingly.

It's the bullshit of the century overall

Reddit is full of drug-naive people taking amphetamine daily for months and wondering why they're getting crashes? Or why they're getting obvious amphetamine-induced side-effects.

well obviously nicotine to calm down is going to be very popular with nicotine addicts!
It helps with stress if you're withdrawing from nicotine yeah, for obvious reasons

The reason a non-nicotine addict does not reach for a cigarette to calm them down is because it would not work, simple as that. As they would quickly discover after trying!

No, I used to smoke cigarettes casually 'cause I only did it when I was with my brother and his partner.if I spend most of the day with them, I might have 4 or 5 over that day, but then I often went several days without smoking any. It definitely still relaxes you and makes you feel good if you aren't depended on, or addicted to, it.
