I change the bedding every time I start to scratch

If I could I would have a house full of dogs and puppies but fuck that shit literally 💩
 
Haha lol! I have a part time dog I look after sometimes and who stays with me sometimes. She is the best and I really miss her when she's not here. She's 10 and has a wee grey beard. So worth the extra mess even when she's casting and clogs up the hoover. 😁

Just messing with ya. Pets aren't everyones cup of tea. Love all animals but I'm a cat person. Their not spazzoids like most dogs and so much more self sufficient.
 
I miss her(my PT dog) reading this thread lol. It's hard looking after someone else's 'pet' when they're like your own sometimes... An inner conflict you could say but I just feel appreciative of the time I get with her. And TBF I get a kick out of helping others. I get a kick out of performing as well but I'm shite though I did play as 'Donna Kebab' one time 😂 that's me doxxed myself 😂
Anyways I've not bothered with my house work just put my bins out today. Had a really crap day that was supposed to be fun.
 
Have you changed any in the time since this thread? Are you still an untidy bastard? Do your underpants still lay under the settee to rot?

Or have you turned over a new leaf?

I now change the bedding once a week rather than every time I start to scratch.
 
My household management was an utter disaster in the first half of the 2010s when my legal high habits got the better of me. I was a total slob with a kitchen permanently stacked high with piles of dirty washing up and never anything clean to eat or cook with. How I never had a permanently bad stomach I don't know, but I guess all the opiates and / or kratom probably helped with that. On stims or opis I might have randomly cleaned the side of the cooker for ten minutes or something like that if the mood ever struck me.

Since more or less re-gaining control of substancey things I now blitz the washing up and laundry every weekend without fail. Hoovering I still despise, I don't know why I hate the very thought of doing it so much. But rather than NEVER doing it I have set myself the realistic and achievable goal of doing it monthly. Which I am more or less sticking to most of the time. If and when I manage that I plan to progress to fortnightly.

The mental thing is that I love having a freshly hoovered clean home with no washing up to do. I'm blaming my potential ADHD. Either that or I just hate doing most of the household chores.

Bed sheets? Whenever the smell of 'man' becomes too strong. This can take quite some time in the winter. But far less time in the warmer months. Plus its just so much easier to air and dry sheets and duvet covers outside in the warmer months, rather than having to drape stuff over the landing banister and taking all day long to dry in the winter. A proper faff and there's only room to dry either the sheet or the duvet cover at any one time.
