I believe in Nothing

Hey, I think I can help you a little (I hope).

If you believe in nothing, and think that there is no absolute truth, then perhaps you are right. But also wrong, because then the absolute truth is that there is no absolute truth.

Think about it.

There is always an absolute truth. Even if it is not quite what humans generally think of as "truth".

But who said humans ever got it right? Haha! =D

To put truth into its simplest form:

R-P=T

Reality minus Perception equals Truth.

Any truth that includes perception is not a real truth as it is clouded by conciousness and conditioning.

I think the hard question is "would truth exist without perception?".....again the tree falling in the woods argument....
If not than surely truth actually equals perception...no?

R-P=P

uh oh....now my head hurts...

Shouldn't that explosion be god, and us resulting from this? That contradicts the nothing statement of it being god. Creation sucks.

I think what actually sucks is trying to apply logical rules to something as paradoxical and all-encompassing as creation.

Which makes you live longer?

Religious people live longer than atheists, I think. But people who follow eastern religions and practices like yoga beat both groups. I'm not sure of that second one, I saw that study several years ago.

>>Wittgenstein and Dewey.

These philosophers have got it down.>>

would you care to tell us what wittgenstein thinks then?
:)
