I was just thinking that this is the only computer I've had for this long (nearly a year) without having much of a problem at all.

It was maybe a little hasty to name it Erroneous during Windows set up.

I wonder if maybe our kids will look at us in puzzlement when we relate stories of smashing keyboards to pieces in frustration...

I didnt get to end up going due my car going to the mechanics...now costing me $2000 to fix...

My smile: i bought Star Wars Lego The Complete Saga for our Wii today =D And racing people on Mariocart from other countries via wireless is cool :D

Walked into town to do some shopping and got a dvd, put a $1 coin in the pokies in the pub and pulled out $44 bucks. 57 free games on this crazy machine with little hatching chickens.

Pays for my season pass at the pool, which opens tomorrow :)
 
We found a black labrador wondering the croydon shops...lost...no tag, no id. So i figured out he was trained coz he sat, laid down and rolled over and had him sit while rob got the car and we bundled him into the car and took him to the Animal Shelter. He is chipped so hopefully the owners go and get him if their details are up to date. We left our number and they are going to call us and let us know whats happening with them and if they cant get in touch with his owners we can adopt after 8 days.

It felt good saving a dog. he had been outside for ages by the looks of him. I would hope that if our cats went walkies someone would pick them up and take them to a safe spot to and the ranger would call us :)
 
Our campaign at Riverfire on Saturday went exceptionally well. The kids we employed for the day worked really well on the whole, and each of us office people who gave up our Saturdays were rewarded handsomely with $200 cash [so the tax-man didn't get his grubby hands on any of it] and an all-expenses-paid dinner at Mecca Bah afterwards. :D

The dinner marked the first occasion I've been to a work function and not felt put-out by having to be there and didn't want to go home as soon as wouldn't make me look ungreatful. I work with a fantastic group of people. I felt like I was having dinner with a group of mates! Best feeling ever. <3

I'm also smiling at the thought of seeing my fishes later on tonight. We bought four newbies and we still have to name them.

Just simple things making me smile today :)

1. Doing all the house cleaning and about 5 loads of washing.
2. Only working 3 days this week
3. Knowing that on Saturday morning I'll be sipping wine and eating fantastic food in the vineyards

And...

This massive hot chocolate I'm drinking.. Yum! =D
 
im going for a getaway with a mate to cairns tomorrow until sunday. camping out the daintrees and bushwalking, sinking vodka and whatever other spontaneous adventures has got a nice smirk on my face:)
