I thought penises in general were disgusting and ugly until I began having sex, and now I think they're wonderful (although I still do find some ugly). You mention that you've only had sex a few times, so whether each time was with the same girl or a different girl, your experience is still very limited. Give it time, as you start having sex more regularly you might stumble across a vagina that you can "visually and mentally tolerate" better than others. If anything, regular sex should desensitize you to their appearance.
