i think they would have contacted us by now, unless its liek some sick video game or reality tv show, but if an alien race is that far advanced to design evolution then i dought they would have such a sick sense of human, they are prolly massive liberals

Once again, this theory is NOT that they "designed evolution" or seeded all life on this planet. At least, a great number of these theories that I've read don't say that. The idea is just that they came here and interfered with life here. This concept doesn't go against the big bang, evolution, or any of that.

Many believe they have. But even if they hadn't, why would you assume they'd have contacted us by now? For what? They probably either finished whatever they came for and moved on, or died off/changed just like our society has. It would be neat if they came back though! That has always been my dream.

I've had some major epiphanies in the last week on this topic...I would like to discuss further but this is not the correct venue. I'm not saying that I have all the answers but a lot of things are starting to click for me to the point that I'm starting to really understand why things are the way they are. mr hawking said there are prolly are aliens, but most likely if they come to earth we wont want to meet them becasue they wil be a nomadic race

Why people may adopt such views

People like the idea of a creator because they want to have someone to be grateful to. Life is a gift beyond all repayment. This is why it feels good to help others, or help the environment, or simply to do 'good' things. We are trying to repay the gift of life. Humans created Gods as someone to be thankful towards and explain the mystery which is life. But in reality there is no God to be thankful towards and the mystery is just that... a mystery

Once again, we are not worshipping these beings, being "thankful" to them, or saying they are GOD. This is not a religious issue so stop making it into one.
