just curious does anyone know why they don'rt make pure hydrocodone pills... theyre not on the market here but its been bugging me
I don't know why they are marketing this when there is pure oxycodone in both IR and ER formulations. I'm not sure why anyone would even use it recreationally unless it was on your drug bucket list or something

As for why they are coming out with an ER version of hydrocodone without tylenol, well why not? Some people are prescribed 3,4, or even 8 pills of hydrocodone a day, so why not make the ER version of it so they can take less pills, and not risk the liver damage? If hydrocodone treats their pain fine, then why switch to a more potent opiate? The new ER hydrocodone will serve to better bridge the gap between hydrocodone and oxycodone. Also, a lot of people don't like the new ER version of oxycodone ("OP" OxyContin) so they may be able to switch to the ER hydrocodone which they may find is more effective.
*IF* it is approved. The application was just filed with the FDA this month. I think there will be plenty of alarmists making noise about this one. And then the alarmists will go home and get nice and drunk, legally, on Jack Daniels.Cant wait until these come out...........![]()
