Hundreds Turn In People In CU Photos

I'm currently a student living in the drorms of CU Boulder. My dorm just so happens to be directly at the southeast corner of this field. Here were the events that I was able to put together.

11:00PM - Police start putting of warning signs exactly like those posted at the top of the page with the pictures.

12:00PM - Police move in with drug dogs, lot and lots of officers, and barracades and completely lock off this field.

4:00PM - It is closing in on the time of 4:20 so the person pictured first on the page decides to break the ice and just hop the fence and completely run across the field.

4:10PM - Word gets around that there is approximately 500 people ammasing at Norlin Library (CU campus library) going to rush through the barracades and smoke at 4:20.

4:15PM - I hear shouts outside, while preparing my own festivities, and check to see about 1000 people rushing this field. I immidiatly go and join in with the croud.

4:20PM - There is a massive chear and a dense cloud was drifting to the west to the direction of the music building. Within minutes everyone was well beyond the stratosphere when 100's of frisbee's thrown by the local "Cheeba Hut" filled the air. There was also a Monster truck there giving out free Monster Engery drinks. Also a company was giving out free "munchy packs," or chips, juice, and a cookie.

For the next 2 hours people loitered around and produced an amazingly chill environment until everyone disperesed. The overall count for the amount of people, i was told, hit around 3,500 people.
 
Who does everyone think will be the last to be Identified in them pictures?

I'll go first, theres 2 IRISH people in 1 picture in them pictures that dont even look like they go to that college! They are probably touring America and stopped by, so the chances of people knowing them are VERY LOW lol!

Why cause theres a thousand kids who said "I don't give a shit" and went out and smoked in public knowing they could and probably be caught. I say that college is kickass.
 
i live in boulder, about 5 minutes away from the CU campus. Cops try to fuck this up every year, even though its been a tradition as long as i can remember. The year before last they went around with big garbage bags confiscating everyones pipes, and last year they turned on the sprinklers.

I read an article in a local paper that said there were people (undercovers?) moving through the crowd and wearing hidden cameras. These aren't photos, they're stillframes from a video. That one guy pictured not smoking, its just so you can clearly see his face. Anyone pictured on the website is also recorded smoking, maybe just their features aren't as clear. They're charging anyone who wasn't smoking with trespassing.

I'm guessing the reason no one wore face masks is because no one expected this. Next year we'll know better.

And whoever asked for a picture of the crowd, i'm gonna take one next year because you see this huge goup of people surrounded by a big cloud
 
how in the hell can you convict someone with a picture??? It's in the past. Cop's found picture's in my car when i got pulled over and busted for a dui. The cop's sat there and thumbed through it and saw pic's of us Smokin,Trippin,and Rollin. Like close shot's of pupil's and shit, they just laughed, they knew what was up, but shit, this is some bullshit,

And how was the camera's put the prior the the smokeout?? The pic's are eye level and close, perfect pics. They musta had a nark walking around with a camera in his pipe
 
They used to do something a lot like this at my high school. If you ratted someone out to a certain hotline school security would search them and if they found anything they paid the narc $50
 
I'm a CU student as well, partook in 4/20 festitivies again this year for the second time. As has been already posted, the people will be charged with "tresspassing"... which is obviously bullshit because that field is open to the public at ALL times.

Unfortunately one of the girls thats been "identified" is a friend of mine... thankfully she'll only get in probably minor trouble.

Nevertheless its quite the scene. Thousands of people blazing... and right when it turns at 420 everything gets quiet and you see a huge cloud of smoke come up in the air. You can get high just standing there. Hey, you can see my old dorm in some of those narc pictures =D

Whole incident is quite unfortunate but I'm sure nothing much will come of it in the end.
 
OK, anonymous tipline? What happened to confronting your accuser?

Shameful, shameful, shameful. The police knew that these kids were throwing it in their faces, and they coulnd't take it so they had to go and be dicks. I can't believe that we give power to these people. Seriously, people with that much power should be people who have little interest in excersizing it.

I'm going to listen to some NWA now.

OR..he doesn't want to go to a school that's full of fucking snitches. Cause I sure as hell wouldn't wanna spend my college career with ppl who sell out their colleagues.

no, because the local cops appear to have telephone poles up their asses. and there are lots of narcs.
 
i went to the boston red sox get together at the university of massachusetts in amherst and their were members of the schools student police department taking pictures with hat camera's many of the kids that were drinking, smoking pot, and lighting stuff on fire where eventually arrested or the school put them on some sort of suspension pending a investigation...
