Sorry if the title sounded like a guide :P but how do i use this. I was thinking of inhaling and holing all of the gas (like 30 seconds a "hit") out of a ballon, is this the right way. Oh yea im using the whip creamed propellent out of a whipped cream bottle so it shouldnt be very strong. I dont want to sufficate so please help
Just a little question, why dont we have sigs here

Fill up a balloon with one canister. Inhale.
You can then exhale back into the balloon and inhale again.
Do it sitting down and enjoy. Jealous!!!!

You wont suffocate, as long as you remember to take breaths of fresh air in between sucking on the nos.

The only people I've seen pass out(or come close) were holding it for a long time.

It comes pretty naturally, And nitrous (if breathing from a whipped cream bottle) is pretty safe.... As you can only put so much in there, so you're forced to take fresh air while you refill :)

My friend (actually my friend, I didn't try it the night he explained it) demonstrated it such that you can sort of hyperventilate first, take the air in, and you can exhale into the balloon and back in again. Not necessarily but apparently helps. And make sure to breathe in between.

You don't have sigs as people abuse them promote solely commercial ends.

To safely use nitrous be sure to use at l least a 20% O2 mixture.

Its all good to use the baloon but you gotta becareful cause if you dont come up for a breath of fresh oxygen, you will starve yourself for oxygen and possibly die. Unlike holding your breath and the C02 forcing your body to gasp for air, N2O will make it so comfortable to try and live off of just breathing N2O and no actual oxygen that you can sufficate yourself easily without your bodies natural reflex to cough and gasp for oxygen.

I always breathe in and out, in and out but it is essential that you take breaths of air - i tend to take two breaths of nitrous then one of air. Last time I had a balloon I was sat on a chair in my yard, next thing I new I was lying in a puddle feling amazing :D so yes make sure you are somewhere safe as you probably will fall over, don't want to hurt yourself..

I gave a balloon to my dad once and he fell off the bed, haha. Lying on the ground is safest ;)

Nitrous + psychedelics = 8o

It's good with pretty much any drug really. Still nice sober, but not mindblowing like it can be. Double balloon on acid was one of the most epic experiences of my life <3

edit: oh - and if you have a lot of it, or have it regularly, it can deplete your B vitamins so you should take a supplement.

8o Really? I've always found that I have reached a stage after a short while after the onset of the effects, I actually can't continue to survive on just the balloon and desperately need oxygen.

I tend to let the balloon loose by mistake once it kicks in haha..

Basically, it is safe practice to make sure you get oxygen in as you do your balloon - a lot of people don't, and they are okay, but that doesn't mean it's the sade way to do it. I always take breaths, doesn't affect the nitrous effects and you know you are getting enough O2 :)

remember to take breaths of oxygen after every hit. some people keep taking hits until they can barely stay awake because they want to get fucked up

I think it's all been covered now. Make sure you take some breaths of air if your balloon if you are inhaling just nitrous oxide (as you will be if you are using whipped cream chargers). Make sure you aren't somewhere where you could hurt yourself if you fall over (I often get unsteady on my feet so this isn't just a precaution incase you pass out). If you do it regularly or have a lot take a vitamin B supplement as it depletes them. Oh, and finally, it gets very cold as the gas expands from the charger into the dispenser - I've got quite a nasty cold burn before, so be careful and if the dispenser gets too cold, give it a rest for a bit :)

Going to close this now as am trying to clean up the forum to free up space for new threads but if you would like it repoened xbloodwhipx shoot me a pm (same if anyone has any more safety tips they want to add!)

I have had the following info sent to me by xbloodwhipx -

I was just reading around and i saw where nitrous could suddenly kill you from 1 hit, i dont think anyone mentioned it on my thread, how common is this

And the following sources -

However there are doubts about whether they are entirely accurate or not. I don't have time to look into this tonight as am just about to head to bed.

edit: Just noticed the bottom two links aren't working - will leave this thread open so xbloodwhipx and others can look into it and comment on this.. I was unaware of anyone dying from the inhalation of nitrous oxide except for those who don't get any oxygen for too long and die because of that, but it is clearly very important to look into this so people are aware if there is a risk. I have heard of instant death from inhaling other substances such as solvents, but not nitrous.

Thank you xbloodwhipx for sending me a pm :)

Off to bed now - shall check the thread tomorrow to see if it needs to remain open or not :)

Sorry for the bottom 2 not working
heres the bottom one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inhalant_abuse#.22Sudden_sniffing_death.22
Edit: heres the other one http://abcnews.go.com/Health/MindMo...-death-syndrome-kills-teens/story?id=10061805

Thank you :)

Will leave this thread open for a bit to give people time to read them and see what they think (as I said I'm off to bed now I am afraid)

edit: looks like they are more about inhaling solvents or propellants rather than nitrous oxide - nitrous oxide itself isn't dangerous, infact it is used as an anaaesthetic agent during childbirth and sometimes during surgery or for minor but painful procedures. I'll let others read them more closely though!
