Stop being assholes guys...

To OP, man it's like quitting cigs. Just stop, be determined to stop, don't think "I'm taking a break" or "I'm cutting back" just *stop*, with a *good reason* to stop. Get rid of your pipes, hash, even money if necessary, and just wait it out. Distract yourself. You will feel crappy and angry for a couple of weeks but that'll go away, you just have to keep up with not smoking and remind yourself that in a few weeks you'll be able to feel good without thc :)

It's quite possible you've developed a bit of a nicotine addiction as well.

As for "withdrawal" from hash . . . meh I only smoked weed like that but the physical stuff was food not tasting so great, weird dreams, irritability, feeling moody, craving pot, and sometimes some really really crazy night sweats. Nothing too bad if you really want to quit.

I feel you on the hash addiction op, I have been smoking hash oil all day everyday for the past year and I get the same discomforts as you. I have been switching back to just normal buds and resrerving the oil for nightime. But that's me, maybe your not a pothead like me.

those who dont understand, dont underestimate the withdrawal of hashish (or weed), it can be pain in the ass that lasts few days.

this "pain in the ass" you are describing is honestly the weakest withdrawal ever... caffeine is probably worse for me.

yeah im slightly more irritable when i don't smoke THC..... maybe i lose my appetite a little and can't sleep....

honestly the physical side is miminal MINIMAL...after being through opiate wd's....

just stop is my advice...

I hate to be an echo, but yea just stop. It really isnt nearly as bad as caffiene (for me anyways). The worst withdrawl effects ive ever had from bud was no sleep, no appetite, and grumpy for about 6 days, and the last couple days werent bad at all. And also i too would like to know why hash is more addicting than weed. Please explain...thanks!

It's cool that you quit opiates and all and we know they're way harder to quit than weed but seriously dude, you don't have to pounce on every person with a weed problem and call them a pussy. Pretty lame.

Did i call them a pussy?

I may have infered it because i believe its true. Don't ever try *real* drugs.

Im not hating on stoners. I smoke bud all the time... Im giving some harm reduction advise. cause if he's fiending over some bud, definently don't hit the dope.

If you think thats lame get the fuck off the forums!

Whatever. I'm taking the high road.

You should be able to commiserate with him. He's smoked bud to the point that he feels like he needs it to be normal. Can't you relate to that? We know it's not like quitting opiates and he never implied that it is.

I used to have a THC problem. I've found that after a while it gets very easy to not smoke, you just need to find things to keep you occupied until then. The withdrawal symptoms can last months, you just have to cowboy up and find the willpower to not smoke.

i didnt say super high like it has no effect on me but, i had to hit 2 big bowls just to get an "ok" high (in the morning lol).
my hash is not weak, now that i smoke 3-4 bowls a day with few hours gap between, i get satisfaction from each hit with strong body buzz and further high.
i notice that after long hours of no smoke i barely have appetite and my stomach is unstable, a hit from a bong would fix that within few minutes.

This may sound weird but what is your normal diet like? I smoke everyday and there are often times I eat fast food bc of munchies or in a hurry or whatever, and can definitely munch out every now and then. I am really bad right now bc I always eat right before i go to bed which is like 2 usually, and I will get fast food on my way home. Anyway when I dont smoke I get a lot of those feelings, but when I eat a lot more regular (as in not eating dinner? at 12-2am) and less fast food it doesnt really happen.

exercise, its the most efficient way to regulate your immune system ,seriously, not that I've ever been "addicted" to weed, but I do get insomnia sometimes and its one of the better ways to get the metabolites out of the body

Yeah OP eat a better diet, that's always a good idea and will help a ton with withdrawal. I started dieting shortly after quitting pot and it made it easier in various ways - I was exercising further self-control than I was already, I was no longer sitting around snacking, which so easily turns into sitting around smoking, and it really really improved my mood, either because I was eating healthier or just because I felt good about myself for improving my lifestyle.

Exercise too, that can make you feel pretty good after you finish.

im also curious about other issue
since i must mix my hash with tobacco, is it possible to develop nicotine addiction as a side effect?

The withdrawals you claim you're suffering are probably due only to the nicotine. I've experienced slight insomnia and sweating, but only after frequently mixing the two.

Hash isn't more addictive than weed, unless you're smoking opiumated hash?

lol heroin for marijuana withdrawls, talk about killing a fly with a shotgun!

I smoke almost everyday if i dont have weed i do find it alot harder to sleep but that goes away after a couple nights if you are taking a break. You just have to exercise and be productive so that you are tired at the end of the night. There might be minor "withdrawl" symptoms but if you want to or need to stop they should in no way impair your ability to quit.

its not that hard to quit smoking hash unless you dont want to quit it.
i have been a smoker since 12 years and it took me just few weeks to permanently quit smoking it. Now i am clean %)

whys everyone being dicks about it? so what the dudes irritated and his 'withdrawals' arent anything compared to heroin withdrawal -_-...hes asking for advice on his current situation - not how measly of an addiction hash his...

anyways - that being said, hash addiction aint shit, your just not used to not being high and its irritating you, go and do shit during your day, exercise so your somewhat tired during the day and so you can pass out , if you arent feeling hungry, eat regardless...pop a benadryl or two before you try to go to bed (this wont work for long)

Thank god im not the only one suffering through this craziness..like i so wannaaa quit hash badly but just the stupid cravingsss man!!! And tummy funnyness and pain!!.. my main question is iif i quit ..by slowly decreasing hash..how long does withdrawel stay?

How to get the fear of being sober anxiety away?..i guess dats what it is called..
