How to make the comedown from hell better?

To the non-trolling OP.
Glad to hear you are taking this seriously.

Allow me to point out that most people with 12 month or longer recoveries start off with SEVERE anxiety.
A few teary-eyed days does not equate the utter panic and loss of humanity that I am referring to.
Those that truly 'broke' their brains often develop real physical manifestations - like tachycardia, fever, swelling around multiple lymph nodes, complete loss of appetite...flu-like symptoms.
They also experience a crippling level of anxiety that leaves them with NO doubt - something has changed.

A hallmark symptom of MDMA toxicity is LACK OF SLEEP.
I can still remember the first week - my head was ringing constantly.
Even when I felt exhausted, this BUZZZZZING sensation in my head would not relent.
I have read several studies that suggests this is normal with human toxicity - even after months of recovery an altered sleep architecture is obvious. And sleep deprivation is a VERY easy way to increase anxiety and worsen cognitive performance in such patients.

If you are able to sleep, this is a VERY good sign.
If you are eating daily and not fearing a complete cardiovascular collapse - also good signs.

You are going to be OK.

Ketamine would likely help smooth out the process, but dosage is still important.
It acts on the NMDA receptors in the frontal lobes, as does Piracetam.
Piracetam can be used in higher amounts and for longer - and it is legal to purchase online.

Your friends don't know a goddamn thing about drugs or the damage they cause.
Even real scientists take YEARS of research to tease out the details of damage in the nervous system.

Here is an important finding.
Cocaine is among the MOST damaging of all stimulants - even more than METH.
Studies of former cocaine users have shown marked reductions in executive function - even after FIVE years abstinence.
Most drugs allow substantial recovery within 2 years abstinence, but some coke users live with severe anhedonia for MUCH longer than other stims.

A very important feature of cocaine use is the need to constantly REDOSE.
A similar trait is seen with MDVP, or 'bath salts', and has lead to rather horrible stories of 'broken' brains on BL.
With ALL drugs, re-dosing is the greatest contributor to damage.
I could refer to hundreds of people on BL suffering from some type of 'damage' and this would continue to prove true.
Regardless of the drug, controlling dosage is the greatest struggle and greatest danger.
Unfortunately, some drugs are MUCH more dangerous than others.

Mixing ANY drugs is unwise - this includes alcohol.
I have read several case reports of MDMA users that DIED in emergency rooms, with substantial amounts of alcohol in their systems.

Your friend that has done lots of X before is a PRIME example of an arrogant, young population that THINKS they understand what they are doing. This is part of the culture on BL that I am attempting to change, or at least to interfere with.
The MYTH that MDMA is safer than other drugs has hurt WAY too many people.
If there was even a BASIC understanding of the re-dosing principle, this could be avoided.

MDMA is an awesome, magical experience - capable of producing emotions that other drugs simply cannot.
But its reputation for 'safety' is not deserved.

Rolling the second day was a BIG mistake, and your 'friends' should have known this.
The fact that they didn't means that the culture of arrogance among college students isn't going anywhere.
It also means that some people are damaged more quickly than others.

Yes, there is a range of toxicity even in lab animals.
But did you know that sequential doses damage ALL?

Most research on rodents involves doses of 10-20mg/kg given once or twice a day - up to four days.
In primates, doses like 5mg/kg once a day for four days definitely causes toxicity.
This is the equivalent of about 2 good tabs each dose.
It is widely believed that humans are more susceptible than primates, due to our higher complexity and larger frontal lobes.

Research AND anecdotal reports agree - Rolling two days in a row is a VERY bad idea.
It is NEVER worth it, and a brief search of BL will reveal the consensus.
The negative side-effects are amplified while the positive ones are dampened.

I rolled two days in a row on THREE occasions.
The first two times I told myself - NEVER AGAIN.
The third time led to a near fatal case of Serotonin Syndrome, which also involved benedryl.

Tell your friend with 'experience' what I have told you.
Ask him to do a little reading before professing the 'safety' of rolling two days in a row.
There is a majority of experienced users on BL that disagree with him.
He could do a lot of damage to others like you down the line, so pass the word along please.

I really do believe you are going to be FINE.
A few days at the gym and you will think it never happened.

If you find yourself crying on a comedown from MDMA then you clearly can't handle it. I really don't suggest doing it again.. and you'll feel fine next week.
 
Just use other drugs to counteract the comedown.

Ketamine ideally, if not valium, if not alcohol/weed.

Using 5-HTP lessens come downs noticable (but doesn't stop them totally). Eating bananas and generally catching up on food/sleep and having a shower to feel more human is half the battle.
 
I feel so much better. :) Didn't have to go the the gym either, just went twice. I felt almost at 80% on Friday and there was some lingering anxiety until Sunday but very, very little. I used to be claustrophobic and for some reason this episode brought it back. I feel great today though!

Yeah, I'll definitely tell my friend. What freaks me out is that the other people I was with who rolled twice in a row and then promised to keep away for at least a month where SERIOUSLY considering rolling this weekend. I encouraged them not to. I don't know if they did, I left early.

I've done molly before about 10 times (always try to keep a few weeks between the uses). I always had the same reaction to it: sleep restlessly the night I do it, wake up the next day feel a little blah, sleep for 12 hours and I'm fine the day after! Maybe it a little depressed, but not enough to really affect my life. Which is why I thought it would be okay to roll two days in a row. I thought I would feel a little more depressed, maybe sleep a little more. THAT I was expecting. I wasn't expecting to be throwing up, dizziness and vicious depression. I'm not sure if it was mixing the coke and molly or if it was rolling twice in a row but I sure as hell don't want to find out. :P
 
I always find a light jog helps or if that's just too much a decent walk out. Plenty of water and fruit. Never lie in bed feeling sorry for yourself, gotta keep semi active!
 
Thanks for all the replies. They helped make me feel better. :) And yet, somehow worse because I feel like a complete dumb-ass now. In my sad defense, I asked people if it was okay and they were like yeah, it's cool. This should be a good lesson to do my own damn research. :D My friend who's been using for some time was shocked at how shitty I was feeling. I have to remember everyone reacts differently to drugs and not to take their word as the gospel.

I have found out that if you have to ask anyone about mixing 2 drugs ( whatever they are) you should just stick to 1. If you have to ask people to get the nerve up to do the drug best bet is just dont do anything you havent done before. Iv done plenty of drugs with people and alot of the times my high is so different than other peoples high, and when you start getting into XTC or Acid or any dance drug it all comes down to wht kinda mental state the person is in. or how much stress there under
