I was 16, thought I was sold a fake o something, so I headed off to the guys house to get my money back (he was a friend), on my way there I bumped into some young tokers, took one blast and I was fucked, it kicked in right there.
i started in 1989 i was 23 yrs old. i tried to start soon, once i heard of xtc, but nobody in vegas could get it or even knew what it was. i think it turned out to be the right time for me.
I was 34, now 40 and still loving it. My husband who was sooo straight when it came to drugs was 41. We still drop every couple of months and love the closeness that we have with E's. Wouldn't change a thing. Also had hubbies sister start at 50 and her friend at 60. So I guess we take out the oldies award.
My first was the weekend before my 21st. I wanted to try it for my birthday with a friend so I knew what I could expect for my party. But I had such an awesome weekend that my birthday party was shit in comparison.
I'm still undecided whether it was the right time or not, some times I regret taking it at all and some times I think it was perfect timing. So who knows. Doesn't really matter.
I was 16. Seems like most of us were. I'm still 16, and I plan on keeping my ecstasy-use as low as I can get it. I had a short period where I rolled pretty often, but it's been over a month now and lots more I'm sure.
I'm pretty much a stoner that loves rolling in between.
Like speed, I take ecstasy to have fun with other people. To connect with friends, and just have a blast with the people I like. That's what it should be all about.
I was 14 in 92, that's when i started, about 14 & half really.
Pills were plentyfull in Belgium and electronic music changed by the week.
Did pills every 3 months the first year, did them in excess from 15 to 18.
Comparing with friends i'd say 18 is a safer age to start with anything.
The first time I tried any drug was 26. Still clearly remember my first Ecstasy pill. Damn great night in Adelaide. Was with a group of friends at a rave. Planned the whole thing. Loved every minute of it
