17...perfect timing for me. i had just heard about it and it was the first drug i ever touched besides greenleaf.

I was 16, a month(ish) before my 17th birthday. It was summertime, and I think it was the perfect time. I had passed the stage where I would abuse drugs for a high, and had learned to use drugs positively, and also I was (and am) young enough that I didn't have too much responsibility on ny shoulders. If I had started a year or so earlier I would be braindead from abuse of it at this stage, and if I'd started a year later I would possibly have failed my Leaving Cert (important(ha!) exams in Ireland) due to getting a little wrapped up in the vibe.

Anyway, enough rambling..... I started at the perfect time!

Not until I was 28, this was in 96.

As I'm in the UK it's a shame that I wasn't out there in 87 and 88. On the other hand waiting until I was older and hopefully a bit more sensible eas probably agood idea.

17 in 1988. I was definately ready but it wasn't so much about the age as it was the scene. Perfect timing because the music, drug, and culture were new. Loved leaving town for the weekend with our crew to do our thing and coming back late Sunday night. Sitting in some high school class Monday morning still humming wide open smiling like an idiot at everyone who just had no fucking clue what they were missing.

It seems I like talking about this. I'm glad Bluelight is around to talk about it.

Some friends surprised me with it on my 19th birthday. I was a heavy extasy user from 99-02. Now I only do it about once or twice a year since I don't hang out with that crowd anymore.

I first took it age 16 with my current gf. I wouldn't have waited, because I took it on the night we got back together, and we spent most of the night talking about our problems, our life, how it'd been without each other, and she's still the only person I feel comfortable taking it with.

I remember was a girl that told me what that magical pill was, and I was like so curious to know what it did, and she said she would take care of e so, I was like, she is cute, and something good might happened, it was in 2003, when I was 24.

It was the best experience of my life, now we are best friends.

I was 19.
I'd been munted on other drugs for a few years, then one day quit all of them for no reason, 6 months later fell pregnant (by accident)!
After my kidlet was born i went to a rave and decided beer was boring so i hooked up a pill.
The pill was great, the music was great, the people were only ok, but after all that time without going out, without drugs, and being a good responsible mummy, it was the best night
