I probably would have waited a little longer, get my life more in order. But what's done is done, no regrets 8)
 
This poll seriously shocks me.... 16 is the median age? Holy fuck. You guys in the US can't even drink until you're 21, where the hell are you getting the means and desire to do chemicals at 16? I won't even start on the ones who've said "10 or under" :o :o

I must have lived a really sheltered life I think. At 16 I would have a couple of wine coolers at a slumber party and think that was really naughty. I tried mull at about 17, but never really got into it (apart from a year or so at uni), had speed at 18 (but not again until I was 27), and had my first E at the age of 26.

I'm thrilled it's happened like that; I love drugs (except weed) and I think I would have seriously fucked up my degree and my career if I'd discovered them earlier. Not that I can say *for sure* I would have refused if I was offered some at 16 - it's probably got a lot to do with your peer group and what they're into I expect.

In summary: I've nothing against drugs in the slightest but man.... enjoy your childhood and your innocence while you can! :\
 
I started when I was 23, and happy didnt start when I was 16/17 which I had access too, just didint feel right at the time.
 
I dare say that one of the people who voted "10 or under" was the guy giving the wanky response, he's not worth my time to find his post to go and quote it. He said something like "I'm 9 and took 7 pills and was rolling for 10 hours" or some bullshit.

The other..well, who knows.

I was 16. Wouldnt have had a better time to take it other than NYE 1999 (coming into the new millenium!!) I was fucked up!! Ate 1 pill, 30 mins later I was like "This aint doin shit!!" ...so I ate another one

End of story :) Had a mad night though..
 
I started at 19 ;) o no wait fuck i voted wrong i started at 18 lol :P

anyways no i wouldnt've started earlier, i think its better to start (if u wanna start at all that is ;) ) when ure 18+ cos then u wont grow as much as you would when ure 16 or summit. also i think it fucks up ur brain more if you start at a young age, at least i know some ppl who started at 14\15 and theyre seriously fucked up :P
 
I tried it when I was 16, and I kind of regret it. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had done acid and shrooms at that point, but X was something way different. I loved it though, and I still mostly do. Although I rarely use it anymore, I just have to make sure it's good before I do it!
 
16, did it at the right time i think.
I think most people would say they did it at the right time because of the way our brain works.....
 
i was 16.. popped with a mate who knows his stuff, was a great experience, best drug ever been on. timing was pretty good aswel. sooner woulda been nice, but i didnt have the oportunities i do now.
 
i was 15...my sister gave them to me at her beach house it was sooo awesome..i wouldnt take it back for the world~but anyone else id say around 17-18
 
x isnt good for you when your going through puberty...

as for me I was 15... loved it and did nothing but it ever since

Started X at 25, I agree the scene was fantastic in the early nineties, but i found X wasn't abundant, everyone was trippin off there heads in sydney! ahhhhhhhh those were the days, actually these days are pretty f@#kin good too, just ignore me, i like cheese......... and ping pong 8)
 
i first tried E only a few months ago and am 22. im at uni at the mo so maybe it wasnt the best time to start takin them but who knows. after the summer holidays ill find out if i can combine uni work and droppin pills, managed it the last few months of last semester, just took breaks when i needed to get work done. but E is very nice and i dont know how long my will power can hold steady!! time will tell.
 
my first pill i took around the age of 22.. tried it like 3 times then quit for close to 2 yrs.. went to Germany in 2000 to visit my friend and we popped at a club.. had the most amazing night i'll never forget.. dancing with thousands of shiny happy people :D pure bliss!!
