Interesting that EADD has a lot more oldies than the board as a whole The United States of America. Is this because their healthcare system is so risible? Do drugs and die young? Or, to the same effect, is it because their drugs are better? Or, conceivably, for neither reason?

Wrong. It's clearly because their pensioners have respect for the youts and stick to church, tea parties etc.
 
Not surprised about a certain lack of youth here. You can usually get an idea of a persons age give or take a few years by their posts alone. The total lack of aggressiveness befits a forum that isn't full of children, frankly.

God I sound like the lone 50+er! Not even half that yet!

I guess it may be due to the wider mix of ages on EADD but i agree that the discussions on this section forum generally seem good natured & civil. I was looking through one of the theads in ADD yesterday and was taken aback at all the hostilty & aggression. A bluelight Crew person was one of the main culprits behind it all too. Calling someoene a "fucking retarded moron" for making a perfectly valid point, seemingly because he was unable to follow a stream of unintelligible chemistry jargon, seems like extremely childish behaviour to me. Not a very friendly welcoming section of the forum it would seem. !

Yes, ADD moderation and discussion (by the regulars, when dealing with newbies) is often impatient, arrogant and childish. I think they'd defend that by saying they are sick of idiots in a forum where they shouldn't be, I think that's a shit excuse.
 
This is prolly the only forum left where I post/read, precisely because of its etiquette, no spotty boy rants or general ignorance. I suspect it is more middle class too, which as an old fashioned class warrior can irk me, there is also an insider/clique element to eadd, which encourages some members to read far more than they post, there are one or two dreadful show offs (you know who they are) whose entertainment value is begining to wear thin, but I have stuck on here despite the awful times I am living through .
 
I think the "Ecstacy Discussion" has to got to have the lowest age range, just some of the posts im not sure are people just taking the piss, very young kids or severley e-tarded americans, although im never sure. Despite they think "Mollys" and "Moon Rocks" is different to MDMA powder, among a few other things, "dude are you retarded who calls it MDMA powder". "MDMA and Pancakes, .. is that ok?" "OK to do MDMA on a plane..?"

I think the rave scene is so different over there though, they seem to just have a shit load of huge big commerical events that rent out like big places, they are sorta like in the 90s what the UK looked like "candy kids" 20+year old making bracelets and sharing them with one another, having "Rave Names", changing your name when you go to a rave "Mystical Owl". I did MDMA twice in the past year, did i lose my magic powers, "Pre loading with pirecatem and orange juice for 5 months, is this enough".

Different cultures I guess, despite im probally the same age as most of them in there. :\

I mostly split my browsing & posting between EADD and OD. I like OD too; its pretty matter of fact & no nonsense over there, and i have found most posts made get a reply of some sort or other which is always gratifying.

Sometimes you dont know whether its best to keep the peace and not risk causing an argument or any offence, but i would think you've been a member here long enough to have earned the right to let people know if they are annoying you by seeming to be showing off or whatever. Maybe they arent aware that they come across as show-offs. (Paranoia now, is he talking about me ?) Hopefully no one would take it personally, as people are only revealing what they choose to reveal, you would only be commenting on what someone has said or the way they say it. It wouldnt be a personal attack on anyone.

When i first started posting in EADD i found it a bit intimidating n clique ridden . Wasn't till i met a Mod that i felt comfortable.
