How old is EADD? (Older and wiser than the rest of BL!)

How old are you?

I don't think the UK scene was ever that shit!

Hahah I more ment with the clothing whistles etc, im not that old so I wouldnt know, but yeah looking at the USA section now its 10x as bad. Some people completley covered from head to toe in "candy".

This is prolly the only forum left where I post/read, precisely because of its etiquette, no spotty boy rants or general ignorance. I suspect it is more middle class too, which as an old fashioned class warrior can irk me, there is also an insider/clique element to eadd, which encourages some members to read far more than they post, there are one or two dreadful show offs (you know who they are) whose entertainment value is begining to wear thin, but I have stuck on here despite the awful times I am living through .

Well that intrigues me gannetsarewe... 'irk' isnt a word I'd expect to see a lower class person using.
Were you well educated or did you catch up in a prison. Perhaps you went to one of those polytechnics?

I'm certainly not middle class. My family are old money.

A proper class warrior doesn't use "middle class" in their class analysis anyway. Bourgeoisie, petit bourgeoisie, proletariat, and the class which fits EADD best, peasants.

...never met a working class person who refers to themselves as lower class.

And you seem to have the same prejudices as MSB when it comes to the education of working class people. They've let us go to school for over a century now. Even let a generation of us go to university.

Seems the prols have been priced out of higher ed for the moment. Could be an oversight as your average aristo won't be able to get any drugs or pay anyone to write their assignments for them.

SHM where have you got that from? he's never said anything negative about anyone being educated, rather blamed lack of adequate education on certain types of anti-social behaviour- simply pointing out that its a social problem.

education and class unfortunately do go hand in hand, because geographically 'classes' are quite segragated in the UK, and schools intake tends to be concentrated on people living in certain areas. of course its not true that all working class people get shit education- some will get great education, but if there was a high incidence of this i'd expect it to be reflected in higher social mobility.

Jesus, just a few hours ago everyone was on about how pleasant it is in EADD, with everyone getting on so well, apparently because of the more mature age bracket. Then someone mentions class, education & poverty in the Racist Person thread and on this one and suddenly all the cracks appear in a big way. Must remind myself NEVER to touch on these topics on here.

oi! Youve ruined my sport you rotter!

We need to set up some kind of constitution for the thread mydrugbuddy We dont want
none of that dissenting riff raff in our lovely peaceful room aye?

I'm not really an aristo Monday. I just fancied being one for a bit but MM spoilt it!!

My Grandad was a rag and bone man! I went to a University that was full of
privately educated students. I was described as lower class more than once.
Quite a few people couldnt get past my rather broad, London accent.

That's totally correct. And said in a completely non-patronising way. You could teach MSB a thing or two.

And no, I'm not being sarcastic.
