How much water do you drink a day?

I never drink enough water, it's terrible 8) Should try and start to drink some though. I only usually have 2-3 glasses of cordial (water+some suger), and other than that 2-3 cups of coffee during the day, then alcohol at night 8)

urgh that doesn't sound good lol. poor kidneys

^ But how much do you drink in a day? :P Saying you drink "as much as you can" is quite subjective.

Nowadays I'm drinking 4-5 liters of water. Down from the 9-12 liters i was averaging over the summer.

I drink between 3 to 4 bottles of water throughout the day. Maybe more if it's the summer time.

4-5 liters. A bit less if I'm away from my desk for most of the day, which doesn't happen that often these days, unfortunately.

I am not sure but drinking water remains a conscious effort for me.
If my urine is near clear, I am at the right amount.

^yeah I find that's always a good way to tell. I don't think it's necessarily true you need to drink "6 to 8" glasses of water a day, or whatever the recommended amount is. I usually just go by the color of my pee, if its dark drink more, if its clear I'm overhydrated.

I don't drink enough either. I rarely feel thirsty, so I just don't think to. I maintain a state of constant mild dehydration. I can't wait for the kidney stones to start rollin

Probably less than optimal, especially since I tend to consume coffee/tea. I'll chug a glass here and there when I get thirsty but it would probably do me better to drink gradually throughout the day.

hmm i wake up and drink a big glass of water, then i have one with breakfast and then bring one down to my room with me. and basically get a full glass each time im in the kitchen. although ive been having to drink more water since being on "accutane" :/

hmmm guessing around 3-4 L . its a lot for a 5'4 120lb girl :P

I drink like 9 glasses a day lol .

I find it keeps my skin nice and clear ..

However I just found out about the negative effects from flouride that's added to much of our water . Quite worrying actually =/

I know that boiling water can help decrease some of the chlorine in the water, I wonder if it can do the same thing with floride?

currently drinking 1 litre in the morning for breakfast, around 3 litres during work, around 1 litres in the evening, a pint of water during the night. combined with a healthy diet, skin is looking good, feeling healthy. drink a bit too much alcohol on the weekends though, but sod it. as long as my urine is clear im all good

I drink 3 liters plus per day, sometimes more but generally nothing less.

My body is sensitive to dehydration and my urine can become dark very quickly with only half a day of reduced water intake. I have to be on-top of it to avoid headaches and other symptoms of dehydration.

I make it a constant effort to stay hydrated. I drink nothing but water, every so often I get the desire for a tasty beverage though. I use to drink a lot of soda, and sugary drinks. Now I just stick to water, tea, and the occasional minute maid drink. Oh, and I drink Orange Juice often, usually only in the morning though.

It's funny, I use to never really be aware of how much being hydrated affected the body. Now that I drink plenty of water, I feel so much better. And when I run out of water and I have no more bottles left, I feel weaker and less active, obviously due to lack of liquid.

I try to drink 2 to 3 bottles at least per day.

I was given a water bobble as part of my xmas gifts, so i drink 2 of those a day, and that's a good gauge that i've had 2L of water. I generally drink one over the course of the day at work, and then one at home. On the days i've been exercising, i'll drink one more litre. If I drink more than 2 litres on a rest day, i feel sick. If i've had a huge work out, i'll replace my electrolytes as well by drinking coconut water.

ever since going on long stupid stimulant and alcohol benders awhile ago, and ending up getting kidney aches/back pains and not realizing how dehydrated i had become, thinking i had messed my kidneys up (which i think i may have done some damage) ive been heavy on the water and havent really felt any aches since. feel so much better. but for some reason i seem to dehydrate a lot faster now than i used to, urine goes darker more quickly than it used to, side effects of years of crazy long partys etc no doubt. especially alcohol abuse as well, reckon its probably done some damage. always makes me wonder about alcoholics and how dehydrated they must be all the time. cringeworthy
