How much water do you drink a day?

I drink a gallon to a gallon and a half of water a day. Every morning when I wake up I open a gallon jug of water and take it where ever I go, be it work, the clinic, gym, store...

The extra half gallon comes from tea or protien shakes I might drink.

I know that boiling water can help decrease some of the chlorine in the water, I wonder if it can do the same thing with floride?

Unfortunatley not . =/
I looked it up and apparently boiling water just concentrates the flouride .
Brita filters dont even remove flouride =[
Only way to remove it from the water is to get an reverse osmosis filter .

To remove it from your body however you need nutrients like magnesium and vitamin c I believe .
I recently researched this stuff but can't be bothered to explain why these things remove flouride . But a quick google search will help u ! =D

so instead of drinking all that juice i should prolly be having water? how much milk tho? like if i have 2 glass of milk and 4 of water, am i doin ok?

*sigh* Milk doesn't have the same ratio of water as pure water does. Of course.

So, in essence, no. Aim for 6 glasses of WATER a day. Not milk, not juice, and no, coffee and tea don't count. The milk and juice you have is extra.

would be worried about fucked up kidneys from drinking that little amount, you ever get weird back aches or anything?

no o_O
fuck thats worrying though. i used to get bladder infections when i was addicted to k.. i try to drink lots of water but like i said i never really feel that thirsty :s
my body seems to b healthy..

Berkey water filter....just the regular filter removes most of the fluoride, but they sell an upgraded add on filter than will remove the remaining fluoride. The price on them has gotten really, really high the last few years...but if you don't want to pay full price you can just order replacement filters and build your own reservoir.

There is no rule to this. It all depends on where/how u live. I just came back from Thailand where i drank aprox 4-6 liters/day. Now, back home in northen Europe, i land on 2-3 liters/day.

You can feel it after dinner, how .5liters really kickstart the digestion process. Awsome for a good shit ;)

This is a great thread! Started a while ago, but still.
I am so glad I'm not the only one who drinks more than "recommended." I drink about 4-6 litres of water, plus or minus depending on the day. People used to kind of give me a hard time (for fun) for drinking so much but they've now gotten over it. I love water, I can't really drink anything else if I'm thirsty. Nothing satisfies like water.
I dont know how anyone can drink soda all day, I would feel so disgusting and dehydrated.

Like 2 litres a day roughly. That's not including water in green tea and whatever else contains water that I eat or drink during the day.

I've been living off 1L bottles for the past week so I know now I drink 2L a day plus 1L in the two soups I eat every day

I don't feel healthy either unless I drink a good amount of water every day - it does depend on a number of factors though; heat, exercise, weather/season but I generally have around 2-3 litres as well as a couple of cups of tea.
