How Much Money Have You Burned

In the past 8 months I'd say around 2 grand, and I don't have a job lol.

So that money was all from scraping hard.
 
I probably drop an average of 100 a week on various drugs (mostly weed) and have been doing this for the past 13 years. The math comes out to $67,600. This is just for the actual drugs. Probably close to 100k if you throw in transportation, munchies and other entertainment related to drug use. What is really bad is that I am pretty moderate with drug use compared to some of my friends. I could see a serious addict spending 4 or 5 times this.
 
Realistically, I've probably not even spent a grand over the years. The most of my money probably went to cigarettes, smoking a pack every couple of days for about a year. However there was a gas station in my college town that had buy one get one free Camels for $3 for nearly the whole time, so my cigs were on the cheap cheap. I threw in for bud with my friends every once in awhile, but my roommate was buying QP's at a time and let me smoke basically as much as I wanted for free (fuck I miss living with him haha).
 
Well I first think of the $24k audi I sold then the 20k.inheritance both didnt last longer than a month had a 200/day habit for four years now
down to 75/day, at least 500k
 
I've honestly MADE more $ than I've spent. Considering the only drugs I've bought was MAYBE $50 worth of weed freshman year. All my opiates are Rx'd so.. And my tobacco consumption makes me more than it costs. (Roll my own ciggies and sell um for half of what a pack costs with like 6-7 more in it) so.. +2-3G but I know if I got my scripts cut I'd be sooo fucked.
 
^ That reminds me, I've made quite a bit of money from selling off my extra benzos. Sold k-pins, xanax, lorazepam, bromazepam, valium, and some others too. Their street price isn't as high here as in the US though since doctors tend to overprescribe.

I had many, MANY benzos because at some point I had 2 doctors giving me repeated prescriptions. I was prescribed 400 benzos, 200 from each. (I could even choose which ones at doctor X). Also got 180x 200mg tramadol (1 box from each doc.) & 2x 50ml tramadol (both from doctor X) every 3 months for a while. I could visit dr. X like every 1.5-2 months if I wanted and he wouldn't care. =D

I got rid of ALL of them (yes I threw them out). I was eating more than I was selling and I was on the verge of an overdose every day.

If I could have them back now I would be able to abstain I'm sure so I'd love to get them back. But back then I did what needed to be done.. Namely get rid of em. I seriously would probably be dead now if I hadn't.

Buuut... The profit I made still doesn't outweigh what I've spent on other drugs at all.

For me this is one of those expenses that racks up and it.. just is.

I feel like drug use is a part of a lifestyle. You probably don't care to collect cars or a wardrobe of [meaningless] labels. At least, you've probably chosen to prioritize drugs. It's what you enjoy. So that's what you spend your expendable income on.

Unfortunately the addiction facet is what makes it different from any other 'interest.'

This year isn't even nearly as bad as the previous years especially because I am not blowing my money on expensive pills. However I still will probably cry when I do my taxes and realize I basically blew all my hard earned cash on drugs.... Mainly heroin and roxicodone.

North Carolina? Camels are like $10 a pack up here. Heart disease and COPD is getting expensive.

You guys who are saying that your drugs are prescribed so you don't pay anything....guessing you don't live in the US. I have good health insurance, and I pay $40 for a fucking asthma inhaler.
 
Probably hundreds. I doubt it's up to a thousand yet but probably pretty close.
 
Was pretty unhappy with myself when I calculated I'd blown 4 grand (UK) on meph in 3 months. Could sink half 0z in a day no problem (really wasn't crap stuff either) seemed about 80% to preban stuff if I was going to guestimate.
 
Weed- maybe $1500
Opiates- $300
Benzos- $60
Alcohol- I no longer drink but I've probably spent a few hundred.
