How much alcohol do YOU drink?

I'm not trying to start a debate on how much is "safe" or "smart" or "healthy" to drink. I'm just curious about how much alcohol YOU personally drink, how old you are, and how long you've been drinking to the extent that you do.

Example: I'm 23, drink daily, some nights just one beer, other nights a few beers, or a beer and a few shots of vodka, or some nights just one mixed drink.

19 and I drink daily. Been drinking since I was 15, been drinking seriously since i was 17. I don't get drunk every day like I was for a few months until recently, since I'm also addicted to heroin, but I drink G&T's like Julian from Trailer Park Boys drinks canadian whiskey, if you've ever seen that show, you'll know what I mean.

36, 1-4 glasses/night when it's around.

I won't usually go out of my way to buy alcohol, as it's far from being my DOC by far. I don't wish to experience oblivion, just some euphoria and respite from anxiety. DXM is a much better drug considering what I want, and I don't need to take it everyday to be happy :\

I'm 23, been drinking since 12 and I have 1-2 beers most days, some days none and on nights out probably 1-5 beers and/or a couple shots.

I'm 22. I had some alcohol when I was 18 (like a couple coolers), so just before legal age in Canada. It was like, two months before my bday LOL and I wanted to be a rebel, and also know what alcohol was like BEFORE I turned 19. Since the, I drink about once every 2-3 months. I've gotten full on drunk 3 times where I've puked. I try not doing that anymore. We usually have friends over once every couple of months and we have wine nights where we drink wine and coolers. anything that doesn't taste like alcohol. lol. Those are most of the times when I drink. I will have a few glasses of wine and maybe a coole or two. It gets me tipsy but not drunk. Once on these wine nights, I ended up getting far past tipsy and I was doing shots of beer. I hate beer. And who shots beer anyway? lol. That was one of my bad drunk puking experiences.

I don't like drinking much... :P

25, been drinking since 17 but only regularly for the past couple years.

I usually have 3-6 light beers or 1-3 strong beers when I drink.

Raging alcoholic from 19-24 then stopped for 4 years started again last year til dec. Usually drink everyday from 5-7 cans of beer and 2 bottles of tequilla cuervo on the weekends passing out a lot in a friends place.

23 and I started drinking everyday for two months at 20 years of age, 6-8 Light beers daily with an IPA thrown in after I got arrested for half a gram of hash posession and quit weed cold turkey for two months. I was drinking pretty much every day for those two months, but I'm glad I switched to a low-dose benzo dependence instead - valium was forced on to me by the ER docs after a massive 6-times rolled over sport car accident in the canyons, since they said MAD muscle spasms were on their way.

So, I took the valium and stopped drinking due to the APAP in the norcos they gave me, and now I still use scripted benzos, on 1.5-2mg Klonopin and 300mg Lyrica now, daily. I like the benzos because they keep me sane and I don't crave alcohol at all while on my scripted dose, which is great since alcoholism runs heavily in my family, on both sides.

I now drink about once a month, usually half-full bottle of a 7-8% alcohol IPA, only during social events to give a slight boost to either socializing, dancing, taste for a great meal, etc. Life is SO much better when you don't drink daily... it really screws up your GABA receptors due to rekindling every time you re-introduce the short-acting alcohol in to your system.

Too much and not enough.

Depends on whether or not I have money, if I do then daily more or less (money doesn't come my way often these days though). Also depends on how much I buy, because I generally drink until I lose consciousness or run out of booze these days. But to put an exact figure on it, if I buy a fifth of liquor and start drinking at 10pm, I'll consume about three quarters of it, and use the rest for hangover management the next day. If I buy smaller amounts of alcohol, then I drink it all.

It wasn't always like this, but I stopped enjoying it sometime in late 2012, and instead of not drinking the temptation became drinking to oblivion. Before that maybe 200-300mL liquor or equivalent per evening, much less when on a beer kick (maybe a couple shots earlier in the day too).

20, i've slowed down a lot due to the fact that natural adrenaline is my new rush of choice, but every now and then i'll party until we run out of money/alcohol or the store is closed this usually consists of 10-20 beers each, the people I party with being 18-21 about

21, drink once or twice a week, usually I drink all of what I have, like a fifth or a 12-pack, I compulsively take shots & have drinks so I frequently black out because I suck at pacing myself, I've been drinking off/on since 17

I am 23, I have been a daily drinker of alcohol for probably 4.5 years. When I say daily drinker I mean there might be 5 or 6 days in that time I didn't drink at all and you can guarantee on those days I had benzo's and possibly GHB.

For a long time I used to drink about 500mL or so of hard liquor every night, basically on average drinking about 4 litre sized bottles of cheap bourbon per week. Eventually I switched from drinking spirits to mostly beer, was drinking say 7 or 8 beers and a shot or two of bourbon most weeknights, with perhaps one or two nights a fortnight only having 5 or 6 beers and binge drinking heavily on most Friday and Saturday nights. 3.5-4 months ago I made a conscious decisionto reduce (and perhaps totally eliminate, not sure really) my drinking, in that time I have tapered myself down to the point that I allow myself to have 3 beers every night. One or two days a week, mostly confined to weekends, if I am out socially I will allow myself to have 1-3 beers outside of the 3 I drink before bed but I am quite strict on myself as I don't want to fuck up all the hard work I have done.

Typing all that out has really made me want a drink bad for some reason... Fuck reducing/giving it up is rather difficult. I really should have been more sensible given the way alcoholism runs in my family but hindsight is 20-20 as they say...

20, been drinking since about 13. drinking daily since 15-16. now a days my tolerance is about 12 beers to get a good buzz going on, bout 18-24 cans to be full on drunk (this means not being able to walk, sometimes puking, blackout etc.) if
it's liquor I need atleast a fifth (750ml) of liquor. (preferably 100 proof rum)
of course these numbers go down quite a bit when I mix in benzos.
but 3-4 times out of the 7 days of a week I drink about 6 16oz
beers.

26, drink heavy once every 2-3 weeks. No beer usually Crown Royal or some sort of nice rum. I need 4-6 shots to feel a nice buzz but I do weight over 250 lbs.

I'm an alcoholic. Pretty much says it all. I was on detox for alcohol addiction last year (not physical addiction though, but after 2 months drinking I noticed I just can't stop without help). I have relapses quite often, but not as severe as before fortunately.

Fortunately my benzos pretty much kill any urge to drink.

As to how much, I don't even want to speculate. A lot more than almost anyone posting in this thread, and I'm ashamed to say that. When you start drinking like an alcoholic, the amount of alcohol you manage to drink is unimaginable. I've been shocked sometimes to wake up seeing how much I've actually drank.
