How many times a week can you actually take xanax?

which language is this bro?
I was using pregabalin and morphine. My doctor cut my morphine prescription, which I had been taking at the highest dose for three years, without even thinking. Now, four months later, we were prescribed oxycodone, and honestly, morphine is better than Xanax, but I read that benzodiazepine withdrawal is really bad. Benzodiazepines make you feel completely empty. At first, they helped with sleep and made me feel a little better, but I really didn’t like them.

The half life of Alprazolam is right around 11 hours. 5 x a half life and the substance will be eliminated from your body, 5 x 11 =55 Then give it three days to be absolutely safe from dependence. 55 + 72=127/24=5.3 days. So IMO you will not develop a dependency if you use for a day or three and then weight five days before your next use.
I assume this general formula works for all benzo's?

Bit more info on receptor recovery below which is a factor for the halflife, which is interesting because the was I read it it's more than just half life elimination, I think you also need to wait for your receptors to recover after that or the lack of returning to baseline will cause your system to adapt to a higher GABA-A level, meaning you'll need/want/think about having Xanax just to feel normal even if you wait for it to fully leave your system. You also need to take account of YMMV etc. Also repeated use has an effect, and timing of it does too, you can gradually build up plasma levels overtime even with longer breaks that you would expect

So I think the number would be more like 5.3 days for halflife + 5.5 days receptor recovery so average 11 to 12 days - note this is the average

and to also add some more info on receptors to help illustrate what you need to consider how each benzo effects your body

It will work to prevent physical dependence.. long term benzo wd can be a nightmare and i can attest.. 20 years of xan and the acute wd lasted a year and a quarter. Resolved itself in less then five minutes.

The half life of a substance can vary greatly depending on a lot of different factors and should only be used as a guide.....generally though it is pretty accurate since most of the mainstream compounds have been well studied.

When it comes to using benzos as recreational though they can again, vary dramatically but this particular affect has been studied much less.

For me, I have been using benzos recreationally as well as therapeutically for just short of 30 years and I have seen the same molecule affect people in very different ways.

All that is something that could be debated indefinitely.

What is far less subjective is the fact that alprazolam is one of the least forgiving benzos.

I have found that rebound anxiety can occur from just a single dose if that dose is a big one....4mg of legit pharmacy alpraze for me can cause rebound anxiety that can be tough to get through, particularly if you have plenty sitting around and you know that just popping one tab makes it all go away virtually instantly, and if you give in just once then the third day is even worse and if you give in again you are 90% on your way to a habit.

For me, diazepam is the most forgiving benzo and can be used at reasonably high doses for a week or two and then stopped almost painlessly with a short taper.

It is very difficult to give a difinitive answer on this one, but for me if I was going to be on a benzo long term it would be diazepam.

It is difficult to state where the safe zone is for alpraze but for me it would be a dose 2mg or less and if I wanted to stay in that "safe zone" it would be never two days in a row and preferably no more often than once per week.
