It's really weird, social stigma I guess. But, it's really really odd watching peolpe smoke out of a crack-pipe and then make some remark about how they'd never use a needle, etc.

I understand some people have a phobia of needles, fear of greater addiction potential, etc. But basically, IV'n drugs is just a better, more effective & quicker way of getting drugs into your system.

i definitely agree, i have some of those people around me saying shootin heroin is dangerous with a crack pipe in their mouth. i've been shooting for a couple years now, and ive shot everything. I would say the most dangerous drug to shoot is benzodiazapems. All of them are insoluable in water, except for ativan being just a little water-soluble, and you have to use rubbing alcohol, ethanol, vodka..etc..or anything to break down the fillers in the pill. In water it doesnt work, some people do not understand that. I shot xanax with rubbing alcohol a bunch of times and twice I got an alleergic reaction that felt exactly like cotton fever. I was on the ground, shaking and crawling in my skin, and my muscles aching horribly. it lasted for about 20 minutes, and I know its because I was posioned. Shooting benzos I would not recommend, but I found that taking it sublingually works much better than snorting or chewing.

Shooting cocaine has an amazing intense rush, but IVing it for the first time is dancing with the devil. You will then have a fixation for needles...its a total mindfuck.

A shipment? I just go to the pharmacy and ask for a pack. Although, all pharmacies differ from one another
 
I would love to to learn how to inject, but IDK anyone who does. I'd rather learn in person if I am sticking a needle in my arm rather than a internet document

Go to Walgreens and say you have Diabetes. I've never used a needle in my life and even I know that :D.

Wrong, not only are Walgreens one of the biggest nazis with syringes (right up there with CVS), but the whole "I need them for my diabetes" doesn't work unless you have a valid prescription for insulin to prove it.

I've only ever found one chain drug store willing to sell syringes no-questions asked (in multiple locations as well), and that's Longs. This is CA though, I dunno about the rest of the country. It would depend on state laws I guess, and I think out here it's left up to the discretion of the stores. Order online if you have to, it's cheaper and alot more discreet if you don't feel like looking like a junky asking for rigs in line at the pharmacy...
 
i have countless times. i was an IV user every day for 2yrs. mostly heroin and sometimes oxys. ive stoped for awhile now, but i just recently did it couple more times. i just dont wanna have to kick again.

I do inject drugs and Im starting to believe that the whole process of shooting up is as addictive as the most addictive drugs out there. I developed this theory after daily shooting up of subutex which compared to the damage has very little pay off. I would say Im destroying my body just from the thirst and memory of shooting stamp bags (heroin bags mixed with fentanyl in pittsburgh pa area). Yesterday I was shooting methylphenidate and I just now shot some coke. I dont even like coke but a bag was offered to me as payoff for something and I took it simply because I can shoot it. I love getting a rush. My favorite thing ever is downers, but sometimes downer tolerance can be horrible and I feel the need to do something different like shoot stimulants. There isnt many other safe drugs to shoot than say coke, amphetamine, crystal, and heroin.. The pharmaceuticals are very bad for you and I believe they are made that way on purpose to sway people from using the needle. The only problem is- just like putting apap in opiates - that it causes harm because most junkies do it anyways and are worse off than if the pills were made safe to shoot or eat in recreational doses. My guess is that the government isnt much worried about the survival rate of junkies.
Question, there is many different names for iv needles and where I live in Pennsylvania USA we call them fits. What are they called in your areas (slang)? Sometimes rigs as well.

edit: One thing I forgot to mention is that the passion to IV is so strong for me that after having 3 abscesses lanced (the worse experience ive ever went through), I continue to use this practic.e And if you havent had an abscess yet, god bless you and maybe put down the toy if you can, because it is a terrible terrible experience. (even tho they gave me iv dilaudid as they lanced one of my abscesses, the problem is I had subutex earlier that day and hardly felt it :\)
 
I hardly ever inject to be honest because most of the drugs I can get are either too dirty to inject or are pills, but this morning I just tried heroin for the first time and I injected it and its pretty nice but I dont have the contact or the money for it on a regular basis so im not worried at all about getting stuck on it.

If anything else I shoot speed occasionally and used to shoot pain pills but im not really that interested anymore. Id rather smoke meth coz its more fun and I like the effects better and I wont damage my body by shooting pills anymore.

Bro the problem is you will find the contacts or they will find you. I remember having one dealer. One day his phone was off and his voicemail said "Phone down phone down call ###-####". Then I had a second contact, and this kept happening until my whole cell phone was full of H contacts. Then they start calling YOU to ask if you are alright. Terrible shit man. After you pass the IV drug stage, there is pretty much nothing most people wouldnt do.

Man!!

I recently decided to stop injecting for personnel reasons. Given proper medical training and equipment there really is a small margin of danger. But just the whole vain recession, blowing vessels, tolerance issue and you know reaching that level of intoxication its just to much. I love that feeling but to keep myself safe I made the choice to cut it out.. I only Iv'ed or Im'ed opiates and coke like twice:( I do miss it a little though. Oh well:p
 
I have injected MANY times coke, heroin, speed balls, methadone and oxy contin but I ve always had a problem hitting myself (was terrified of needle until I had shot up about 50 times and I dont have protruding veins) so I usually had someone else do it. The strange thing is I still sniff most of the time cause I dont want to fuck around with all the bullshit of cook shit up, tying off, finding a vein and hoping to get it in in there blah blah. Suprisingly I like both the different highs of sniffing and injecting and sometimes perfer the high from sniffing especailly with coke.
I had an abcess pop while I was being processed into Cook county on a possession cherge 2 years ago.
Recently got popped of with some smack, some weed and some E so I probally wont be doing H any more any time soon (at least until after my legal issues are resolved) if ever cause I have been off it for 1 and half months and I'm tired of being a junkie.
Though I do want to try injecting halucenogens (probally LSD) at least once. Anyone ever try this?
 
Injecting psychedelics isn't what I would call comfortable. Oral administration is the best way in my experience.
 
Ketamine is the only "psychedelic" that some people seem to prefer IV that I can think of offhand, it still hits you the same apparently but very quick and hard, which can put you in a stupor of not knowing what you're doing.

Its so dangerous to bang Ket, your safer IM, because alot of the time you can go out before you even push the plunger all the way in.

Cant find anywhere to post this

I cant find anywhere to post this but I just shot coke on the top of my hand and missed and there is a swollen bubble that is itchy and numb, will it go down? or is it likely to be an abscess?
