I just broke my 3rd this past week while cleaning it, I really liked this one too, I called it Frozen Kenny. (yeah from South Park) :(

ive never broke one of mine because i love thick quality glass bowls but ive broke 2 friends' bowls because they were shitty
 
I've been smoking for 2.5 years. Glass is great to smoke out of but it gets weaker the more you use it. Eventually it will break. I smoke out of metal now. Metal is immortal, I will die before my pipe breaks.

Metal is also harsh, and heats up way to quickly..

Ive broken just one bong, was a mates..probably the worst glassy ive ever smoked out off. In the end, definatly worth it:)
 
I've been through two, first was a cheapo nasty thing and was destined to beak. The second one I put some serious coins into and when that broke (through no fault of my own) I gave up and went to plastic. I Can handle the slightly worse taste, it's worth it when my bong has to be looked after just as well as my entertainment system..

This, but I counted that was 1. I broke it with a fucking Q-Tip.

It should be a poll on how many glasses you've had broken (by anyone, as long as you own/owned it). Then I'd be up near the 10s.
 
I had one in my mouth and let go to grab a lighter, or something, and it just fell and smashed between my feet.
 
only 3 in almost 9 years of smoking, shit wait let me think, 4.

Still not too bad.

Ive had about 15 confiscated by LE though. Sigh..
 
Two of my friends each broke a pipe of mine, and I broke my most favorite one EVER. It was gorgeous. :( :( And I never took a picture of it. So stupid.

I broke a downstem twice (same down stem), the second time cutting myself. No bueno.
 
It was a tragedy when my glass stem broke on my first bong, but even worse my mother came in the room at the same time (I was 17 or something) which made me piss my pants.

She was cool with it and let me put flowers in it.
