How long to wait after taking suboxone

So my friend has taken 3 suboxone 8s over the past 48 hours (sublingually), the last one was about 10 hours ago this morning.. How long would he have to wait to shoot some dope? Thanks

I'll answer your question, but if you're going to take a synthetically made drug such as suboxone, use it as it's meant to be used. Not as something to help you continue a bad habit, I wouldn't support your friend at all. However 5 days after the last suboxone and you should be good.

waiting 12-16 hours will allow you to possibly get a slight rush that fades completely within minutes, waiting 24-36hrs it should work somewhat, and 48+ i would say you'll get an acceptable high. you're better off either using either suboxone, or heroin. switching them up is disappointing as all hell.

An important thing to consider is that if she's been taking sub for her habit and slips up for a bit of a binge, she waits a full couple days before taking the suboxone again. If not, she will be very, VERY sick. My cat, who already though she was in enough of a living hell, took it too soon and thought she was going to die. I'm talking shakily and sweatily hugging the toilet praying for sweet death Trainspotting style sickness. Many have taken pills the next day or two after sub and found only a mild decrease in the effects. The general rule is sub before pills, not so bad. Sub after pills (if one has a dependency), VERY bad. Be safe.

every1 is diff. if u taking suboxone faithfully, and do opiates every great once in a blue moon( i mean rarely do opiates while on subs), then you shouldnt even go thru precip WD at all, or maybe very slightly.

5 days? That is inane, and most certainly not necessary. I will guess that commenter has no basis for the 5 day remark(consider his scolding of you for your actions he most likely got this info from somewhere/someone else, not from experience. And not sure where because I have never read of needing to wait 5 days). I would say 48 hours, 72 is on the long end. Honestly after 36 hours there probably won't be much of a blockade. Not sure why people are now turning the thread into a Precip w/d discussion, that was not his concern. I can tell you that as long as the Subs are holding off your H w/d's, then the H won't work that well. So basically just wait until you feel sick, and it will work. At 36 hours you might feel sick but not in full out w/d's, at that point you will feel the H for sure, but you won't get to 100% effects. You can do more to make up for the blockade effect, of course, but its financially better to wait the extra 12-24 hours to get a full effect. Also you are shooting so the risk for OD is there in regards to bumping up the dose to combat the Subs blockade effect.

If tour dose is above 2mg it takes 36-48 for full affects. Usually 24hrs is enough to somewhat feel the dope, but at 48hrs u will get full effects

If you take suboxone daily, and switch to full Agonists for a day or two, no precip will be experienced when jumping back onto the orange ferris wheel.
