Just an idea when it come to drugs that have strong arguments against and for, like Seroquel or Alcohol
I like to think of everything as a multi purpose tool with many uses, positives and negatives. This is only possible when understanding your targets in detail to the point where other peoples opinions have no impact on your own informed one.
I know im far better off understanding something, like a drug, enough to be able to make up my own mind about it to comfortably avoid the need to accept a general, it sucks or its awesome, opinion and go with it, even if from a source of authority or respect.
Obviously, this could avoid situations where somebody who could benefit for example comes here and hears somebody saying its bullshit and never considering it again.
Why i want to dislike strong opinions in posts here instead of detailed positives and negatives analysis instead, but thats unrealistic, this is normal communication and cant be blamed obviously since we cant sit considering every likely reaction to our right to have an opinion and express it.
But thats why people should get the facts and form their own opinions on something.
For example, it could identify evil Seroquel would actually be perfect for my specific need of comedown avoidance and the evils expessed in the majority of opinions are related to other situations and wont effect my specific use of it, after all. And this type of realization or increase in your options is available everywhere and in everything, not just drugs. Its pretty useful way to think.
Or another simple example i like to educate family with, is Alcohol, which many have strong opinions about, but those with the correct knowledge might know that even though its bad for self medicating anxiety (i know i did it for years) in general, should you be in a situation where a quick once of relief from anxiety might be necessary, alcohol is actually one of the best anti anxiety medications around (for short term use), even though the masses see it as a recreational beverage naturally shunned should it be contemplated for use medically, but it is possible with the correct understanding to do this correctly of course.
Alcohol might seem like an obvious silly example but it works for the masses who i try to teach the concept to, since the masses see it as all bad or at least nothing more then a crux or a rec drug. Normal people are surprised even considering its a drug, with medicinal properties.
To tell you the truth, this type of example where obvious things are not even contemplated because the general consensus, or society says otherwise, meaning blind unquestioning acceptance, where the obvious is never even contemplated, terrifies me the most in terms of the world and the human race altogether. How far has this problem really gone?
I can tell you this idea of informed opinions, nothing is just good or just bad, black and white, and everything begins as a tool considered without prejudice for max usage and thus ready to be used uniquely for whatever specific need you might have, has opened up options and insights big time that suddenly reveal hidden benefits and advantages to everything around you you never even considered before, things and people too, and situations and more.
Why i always say to question everything, because even to the best of us, the obvious is unseen until we actively question it or its more obvious "surroundings".
Anywas, i good useful way to look at drugs I have found.
