Yeah...most of the Fentanyl was post-surgery, they only gave me 100mcg before. My first time having Propofol! It was fun when I first woke up (mayy have been the Fent, though) as I remember being really friendly and chatty with the nurse and feeling good, but then I just felt shit, like on the verge of falling asleep without actually doing so...sedated in a BAD way...closer to like an antipsychotic sedation than to a benzo or opioid sedation.
Wasn't a major surgery. Had a large perianal abscess cut out.
Kinda pissed today, though, First, they sent me home with zero pain meds. I get that it wasn't like a massive operation, but it is the most painful type of abscess, mine was huge, and I still had fucking surgery. They would not give me ANYTHING. Which was mostly fine while I still had SOME Propofol in my system (takes 24hrs to toally clear app.) and also the IV Fentanyl they'd been giving me...but by the middle of the night it was getting pretty painful. And then they musta done a sloppy-ass (no pun intended re: MY sloppy ass) job with dressing the wound because I went for a poop and the dressing/sticky-plaster/massive-band-aid type thing just fucking FELL OFF.
So, like, open wound.
And then the gauze they'd packed it with started coming out.

Called my dr at 8am and FINALLY got a call back at 4pm, but she sent some Morphine and bandages/dressings to the pharmacy for me.
