I'm finishing up my third cup of coffee, 800mg for the night total. Gonna val it up some more and add in melatonin/benadryl for sleep later this morning after I walk and feed the canine.
PD: definitely, having nothing open and no friends who are around at 4AM on days off makes it so that working 6 days a week is almost preferable... If I could find an enjoyable day job that paid as well I'd jump on it. Part of the perk with 3rd shift is being able to work at your own pace and not be bothered by people (for the most part). I like to hustle hard when working to maximize downtime where I basically just lounge and chill to tunes. I'm 95% sure I'm moving in November to another state and still don't know if I'm gonna continue working nights. Id go back to school if I thought it was feasible for me; people who go to school full time and work full time simultaneously confound me.
