It's called having good taste. Just kidding lol, I'm actually a tea fan as well. I think it's mostly a habit thing, if the people around you are avid coffee drinkers it's not very cool to decline a cup because you only drink infusions made out of the finest and most refined imported tea leaves (that you also have to brew for exactly 2min 30 something seconds at a precise temperature).

Coffee is a different experience as well and it has more caffeine. Bad coffee is usually a horrible acidic mess but man good coffee can have an amazing taste, specially if you grind it yourself.
And a black drink is way cooler than a dark brown one, drinking a cup of hot black coffee feels like you're consuming some kind of essence directly from mother earth.

I can never drink coffee when I’m speeding because it makes me jittery and brings on anxiety I never otherwise get from stims. But the day after I stop taking amps I drink huge amounts of espresso coffee just to get my system started.

Same. Caffeine + amphetamine leads to a dirtier high with more side effects, I always get tachycardia when I mix those 2 and I gain nothing from it.
I think someone made a thread exactly about that a while ago, the title was something like "people who drink fucking coffee on stims". I guess there are pretty hardcore coffee drinkers out there who need to have their cup(s) no matter what.

Interestingly. When I am not on stims I get really bad caffeine withdrawal - mainly a migraine. But when I suddenly stop coffee to go amping, the amps seem to prevent any caffeine withdrawal. Even though they are all working on different receptors.

Well I'm not too surprised because caffeine produces cerebral vasoconstriction, which actually improves blood flow because the heart can send more blood when arteries are constricted (higher blood pressure). Caffeine WD of course causes the opposite, cerebral vasodilation, which appears to be responsible for the headaches.
And it turns out amphetamines and other stims also cause vasoconstriction (mostly via a different mechanism), so that might compensate for the vasodilation caused by caffeine WD.
