drank some hop valley dipa, had a nap, drank some green tea, now having some lagunitas cappuccino stout. was hoping to have my beer mail by now; it seems my friend dropped the ball and is being late with it :(

however today was a good day overall. i bought 40 bucks worth of premium ramen, a ton of bbq eel, and got my ticket for the limited rerelease of ghost in the shell this morning. approximately 100 theaters in the country will be showing it over two days only next month. i've seen the flick at least half a dozen times on my computer and i can't believe i'm getting the chance to see it on the big screen. i don't care if it makes me sound like a weeaboo. i'm fucking excited.

Nice. I had their Imperial Stout in the 22 oz can a little while ago. Pretty good stuff and almost 10% too :) I liked that even better than the cappuccino stout but that's pretty good too. One of the better coffee stouts, way better than the Troeg's Java Head IMO. That stuff has too much caffeine in it. Not that family with Hop Valley. How is it? I like DIPAs. I might try some tomorrow or sometime soon if it's good.
 
Lagunitas' Imperial Stout is wonderful. In fact almost all Lagunitas beer is fantastic. They're one of the few breweries that I trust just about completely. In fact I might even put them above Ballast Point. When I was back east I would gravitate to Jack's Abby and Victory for reliability. Of course Lagunitas was out there too, among many other fantastic brands. One of my few complaints about Oregon's beer culture is that it is so very insular. We get comparatively few out of state breweries who distribute here and I suspect it's Oregon's fault, rather than the other way around.

Hop Valley sells their Alpha Centauri in 22oz bombers. Since it's local I can pick it up for about $3.70, and it's 9%. Pretty much one of the best values for beer in that size. Lagunitas imperial bombers are the same price which also plays into why they're some of my staples.
 
Received my "goods". Trying out U-47700. Not sure if I have monstrous tolerance from my codeine use or what, but 40 mg orally on an empty stomach only gets me slightly buzzing. Like a moderate codeine high. The source is trustworthy, so it's good stuff. Well, better than nothing!

Gonna go on a small O-PCE binge/trip one of these days. Life's good.
 
Done a cocktail of 40 mg U-47700, 3 mg O-PCE, 37.5 mg zopiclone, and around 150 mg caffeine (good coffee!). Time to get hiiiiiigh, soooo hiiiigh.
 
2 small lines of euro speed (racemic amps) to test the waters. I do feel nice but it might be placebo, don't have a lot of experience with speed paste it but it seems that most of it is cut to shit.

still feelin fine from the dex earlyer, got some brews from home here so i jus popped 2.5mg diazepams to boost my drunk since thats starting now. last 2-3 days havent been doin as much drugs so heres to low tolerances and fun times.

i tried my best to get some framinghammer from jack's abby to no avail.
 
Ate my last three Trams and dissolved 1mg klonopin under the tongue along with smoking a few bowls. Tomorrow it's back on the sub train but tonight I feel goooooood
 
Topham, you got any recommendations for a hard cider?

I just had another 25oz can. Chilling out on the deck at my building. It's gotten a little child and windy compared to the 50° temps from earlier today. Going in to lay down and listen to podcasts soon.

I was in a serious car wreck. I hydroplaned my 2015 Challenger into a pole. Shattered my pelvis, broke my hips, broke my femur, fucked my spine up more. Gonna take awhile to be rehabilitated....
 
Fuck dude, that sucks! Glad you're ok. Didn't you just have a bad accident within the last year or so? Or am I thinking of someone else..
