How does god keep track of everything?

Indeed, and Wow… I never correlated seasons in this way, but it is so true. I guess I just take them for granted, as they come year after year, but there are reasons why seasons are what they are as you say. It's so baffling in a way it's beyond the mind's comprehension…. to truly know, coincidence or something else.

People say they have the answers to these mysteries, but I can't say that, as I am merely human. I can question though I suppose. The ultimate answers are the better questions anyways…. I'll keep asking… keep open mind.

Come on Willow The moon perfectly covers the sun with its shadow, size wise it meets it right on its edge, And the moon is covered perfectly right to the edge with the earth in that eclipse because of the size of both in relation to one another. Add that were the perfect distance from the sun that life exist you gotta wonder. I always did I hope you'll open up and look up. Donny

What do you mean? I think assuming that I am not "opened up" is pretty far off the mark. I just don't think that the entire structure of our solar system was designed 5 billion years ago so that we, having come into being about 200,000 years ago, could see an eclipse. What would be the reasoning for that?

People here need to read up on anthropic principal..

Life could arise because the conditions were right. The conditions are not right so that life could arise.

Huge difference.

An eclipse is a pretty poor argument for intelligent design.

Why did he create the sun in such a way it causes cancer? Why did he create tectonic plates which cause earthquakes, tidal waves, etc? Why did he create life to need the conditions it does? Why create life to need oxygen? Water? Food?

That's like asking how can you tell there's 30 trees and 7 deer in front of you without simultaneously touching them all. The concept of God is a being that is on a higher plain of existence that can perceive things in a way a human being can't possibly fathom. It's like comparing an earthworm to us.

For all we know maybe long ago God made the human race sign a pact with him; which gave us freewill in exchange for having a computer chip implanted in our brain, giving him data on our every thought and action.

Keeping track suggests observing something apart from yourself. If God is ever present in everything then keeping track becomes a meaningless question.. for God is.

god is....... an explanation for stuff science hasn't figured out yet.
And if god knows about all those sparrows, why did he need angels to get the inside scoop on Sodom and Gomorrah?

Who would name a city Sodom?
Butthole town that it was.

PS, being sarcastic here with line 2.

Very carefully... :D

God is an Accountant.

Another way to say it is the Universe is an accountant for Consciousness. :D

Good question…
I guess it depends on how one defines existence.

Are you referring to concept of life as illusion? As dream?

Well,
Im really just toying with the idea of existence and reality as we know it.
What if your dreams are reality and when you are awake it is a dream? ( just for fun)
What if you are a thought -a dream- in the imigination/mind of God.
Existing only there.

I believe we do exist at the moment.
I believe in existentialism in respect to responsibilty of self, but not in respect to meaning of life.
Our free will is not absolute free will, there are parameters within the "program" that the programmer has specified. We are hard wired with certain knowledge and can recieve upgrades. We are given enough space in the hard drive to exercise free will and experience something very powerful outside our self.
We are are an extension of this power.
An expansion of this power.
We owe our existence to it.

You have a point about dreams being reality. They are windows into what is really going on with us.. stirring existing beneath consciousness. In conscious waking state we have the control to suppress this… and don't operate in this disturbed reality as it can be threatening. I once wondered if we operated at that level consciously what would happen. Perhaps this is madness, but this is kind of another topic.

Also, … why would there not be reality?

We absolutely exist in the moment, but take ourselves out of it.. when awake. Sometimes interpret and observe without fully experiencing what simply IS.

Owing it is an interesting concept. I suppose to keep our species moving forward we must tap into each of our own personal expressions however that may be or is manifested within each of us. To deny this is death of the soul of sorts, metaphorically speaking….
As K said, truth is a pathless land.. It's important to not fall into belief systems for meaning, but to exist naturally and authentically with responsibility to ourselves. There are parameters.. yes.. knowing these and following our bliss regardless without self destructing … at least to me is important.

We absolutely exist in the moment.

Why may reality as we know it not exist?
Perception. This is possibly the illusion. Along with time. What if you woke up outside the illusion and realized what you thought was reality was a dream? Ever woke up in a dream and thought is was reality just to wake up in "real" life? I have--
its so real its scary.

If God does exist outside this universe who is in true reality?
You or God?
Isnt it possible you exist only in a dream of God.
Are dreams real or the person dreaming them?

Consider this just for fun of thinking,

Who is real? Your dream or you?
Surely you wouldnt say the people in your dreams are real.
What if neither of you are real.
But have a potential to be real.
What if you dont live up to what your suppose to be in this dream we call life you never even exist in reality.
You and what you thought was your memory are erased--deleted before the command to make you real ever even got executed.
Now substitute imagination for dream.
Have you really been created in reality or just in thought?

Very philosophical. Intriguing. We have so much freedom when dreaming.
Everything is transparent, honest and we take it as it is.
Even in nightmares there is no good or bad.
Just the existence you allowed to come in.

He don't need a phone number, for himself.
He needs it for the bill collection agency for when you short-change the donation basket.

Hello, I am calling on behalf of god and wondering if you have plans on paying a bit more during next service?

All those idols and gold plated chairs and pedo lawsuits cost money, ya know.
