I love those drug legends where apparently there is a drug that has a very specific effect in everyone, making everyone who uses it believe they are some animal or cartoon character or whatever. Wow, I didn't know we all had the smurfs hardwired into our brains from birth.
I've heard about this new drug called 'meow meow', which is the deadly new plant food drug. apparently it makes you act like a cat, then recount your story to 'today tonight'.
Alot of the time with my mates it comes down to them not wanting to lose an argument, so won't back down on some myths about drugs (acid is stored in the spine is one of my friends favourites). on the whole, most of mates are pretty cluey about drugs, and some browse bluelight so it is rare that i have to dispel myths for them.
the worst people to try and reason with are those who have never done drugs and have strong anti-drug stance. they have no personal frame of reference to back up their statements. nor are they ever really informed on what the actual risks are vs. the made up risks. I generally don't both arguing with these type of people. they don't use drugs, and they're not going to change their mind. so whats the point.
sorry if this doesn't make much sense, pretty scat today.%)
