I did do a search and read all the many info sites. But its not easy trying alone.
Trying to hit c just for the experience. I think I did it last night right but the buzz was ok. Lots of bruising.
How do you know if you hit vein. I see these blue things on my arm, in crook of elbow, on side, in hand. I am assuming they are not arteries, but how can I be sure.
So when I find one and tie on the tourniquet, I tie above the injection place right? How far? Then make fist until the vein pops up? They never seem to get very big.
But big problem is how do i know when I am in it. The needle is easy to get into my arm (yea!) and I am unsure of the angle. Not straight in but no laying on the arm either, right? Now I read that you are supposed to pull in and see blood? How do you do that with only two hands? :D Leave the needle in your arm.
My best success seems to be on the top of my hands. But really I have holes and bruises everywhere. Not cool at work!
Any advice appreciated.
