You should just go with it man, why do you have to know you are in a relationship? You like her, she likes you, she isn't going to be hooking up with other dudes if there is an interest in you. And even if she was, does it matter?

Especially with her being older, play it cool. And that goes for your entire relationship. Just be chill, be a little bit coy, and don't open up to her all at once. If she is older, she will have seen that shit so many times. In all seriousness, be like David Caruso in Jade.

As someone who has been in your position, and have always dated women older than me usually by more than 5 years in between our ages (they are superior in every way shape and form to their immature counterparts) I have to say that right now, if you're interested in her you need to show it. Take it easy, be coy like movie said, but test the waters, get to know enough about her so that you don't need an outsiders (bluelight) opinion on whether she'd be okay with a LDR. Because honestly, the only way you can be sure about something like this, is if an outsiders opinion could not possibly be more valid than your own, and hence is pointless.
