serotonin- fuccccckk!! sorry that's terrible, my right rotator was torn up pretty during a wrestling match in HS, and over a decade later still goes out multiple times annually. Still never regained ability to throw something at full force w/o almost guaranteed injury.. be gentle while it heals and do your pt stretches!
captainheroin- be wary of overtraining!
motherofearth- if you're able to walk, that is ;]

Completed the 'Fit Test' this morning, and I'm still walking :D However, my muscles in my left arm have been spasming and my neck muscles above are somewhat sore. And not in the good way. I've been stretching and taking it easier on the exercises affecting these areas. I've not been worked so good and in so many areas in a long time - I'm excited to keep going w/ this. It helps to have a friend doing this w/ me (a friend who is in much better shape than I, at that).

okay, before i say this, plz don't let it imply you should necessarily stop - i think you can very likely end up on top w/ what i've heard. that said:

this is a great example of what NOT to let happen, whether you're just getting off the couch, or are months-in on a serious routine. THAT is the very description of going too far, and going too far in that manner is bad for you - it is trauma that is well above/beyond the trauma that proper training (ie "progressive overload") seeks to induce. This extra is not "better", it is counterproductive at best, and ruinous via injury at worst.

I am at my in laws for the week so I am making do which is EASY as his mom is into fitness :)

Monday we took the dogs for a 30 min hike across the street from their house which she turned into a circuit training adventure. We would run up a hill do 8 sets of 8 push ups at the top and run back down to do 8 sets of 8 mountain climbers. As we lunged to the next "station" she handed me a resistance band to do lat pull downs. There were 6 stations that comprised of 8 sets of 8 of 2 exercises. LOVED IT!

Xmas morning (Tuesday) I ran 4 miles on the street (hills aplenty) in freshly fallen snow. Later that afternoon we went on a family hike for 50 minutes with children and dogs.

Wednesday was really cold so I went on a 30 minute hike with the dog in the morning. I ran up the hill while he sauntered.

Today there was 6 inches of snow so I strapped on snowshoes and hiked the dog for 45 minutes. Came home and lifted weights (3 sets of 10...shoulder press, rows, tricep extensions, bicep curls, push ups, 3 sets of 30 jumping jacks, 1 min wall sit and 1 min plank)

Tomorrow morning 90 min yoga class with my mother in law then hike the dogs.

I'm pretty sure it is a product of the position in which I've been sleeping.

Today I did half of the Plyometric Cardio Circuit, but had to stop, not due to any soreness, but b/c my stomach felt out of sorts. I still worked up a really good sweat, and plan to attempt it again tomorrow.

holy moly PI that is a truckload of exercise. well on ya.

I shoveled snow for an hour so far today, while trying not to think about the layer of fat I've put on over the last 10 days.

Shook a bottle of poppy seed tea for 20 min..lol. felt like a workout. but other then that..took my dog for a half hour run, danced for about an hour, did some random stretches on the floor..my versions of yoga lol

Took my parent's dog for a hike through a couple feet of snow, then I'm going to go rampage around town with my little brother and friends tonight.

yesterday 90 min power yoga class with my mother in law and I am sore today...whoa.
30 min hike in the snow with my dog this morning

"Tab's sequence" x 3, with 60 added dips, followed by 50 squats, 50 shrugs, 50 calf raises, before 7 kundalini balancing postures with varying reps.

Posting a sequence for you tomorrow or monday - I have one ready - I just need to do it, but I am starting my day with yoga tomorrow.
