How dangerous is Ecstasy anyway?

Wait, rats are commonly used for drug testing, that means rats used for testing get high a lot, right? Besides the part where they die a lot too that sounds like it would be fun.

Haha back on topic now. Of course no drugs are harmless. Then again there hasn't been a single case of weed smoking linked to cancer, and it has been shown by some studies to actually make cancerous tumors smaller.

You can always sign up with the pharmaceutical research companies and get paid to be their human lab rat. They pay well too ;) But you might end up with extra limbs growing out of random places.

OP, just to remind you, there's a TON of myths about MDMA. Most of then aren't true.
Doesn't burn holes in your brain.
Doesn't make you gay.
There's no physical addiction to MDMA.
It's difficult to overdose on pure MDMA, it takes about 5-7grams. On average, theres about 90mgs of MDMA to a pill. So you'd need to take around 50-70 beans to OD. But that's pure MDMA.
Pills don't get cut with heroin, that's not to say its never happened, but it's just not economical to do.
Pill logo and color mean nothing.
Nor does the thickness or "stack" size.
If you use your head, you should be fine

Where should I pick up a testing kit and how long do they last? Like say a friend gives me one for a party I'm going to sometime or something and I want to test it, 1 how long will a test kit stay good 2 where can I get one?
 
I'm not sure what the shelf life is on them...but I imagine its pretty long.

Don't underestimate weed, it can mess with your brain in a bad way. My first weed experience was a nightmare. Some people go straight to paranoid on weed (like myself) Ecstasy on the other hand, I must say is the most amazing thing ever. That's if you can find the real deal.

MDMA toxicity is very dose responsive, i.e. the more you take the more damage that is going to occur.
Now the fact that one would have to take massive doses of MDMA to reach there LD/50 doesnt make it safe or a good idea to take large amounts.
most of the toxicity is occurring to serotonin synaptics and axons
certain factors will help with the amount of damage, (antioxidants, SSRI'S, etc....) an occasional user is harming themselves very little.

Heroin blows orally. Virtually no bioavailability. Even if there was heroin in it, it wouldn't fucking do shit. Even if the pill was 1%mdma 99% heroin I doubt you would even get high. Eating like 200mg heroin wouldn't do shit.

I doubt anyone with the equipment etc.. to synth mdma and press pills would waste time/money doing dumb shit like that. It's mostly myth I would guess.

If you sniffed the pill that'd be different, but even so, the amount of heroin even if it was 100% pure that would be contained in a pill is small.

Actually I've read analysis off ONE pill/batch containing heroin, so it's not common but it does exist, don't remember the amount of it but I have to guess it was just traces.

It is pretty well accepted even by pro drug users that it is toxic to the brain, however the rate of use it takes for this to manifest is different for every user.

this is just bullshit... plain and simple.

If that was the case, we should be living in a world of zoombies, because ppl abused the fuck out of E in the 90s and 2000s and still do...

4 times a year? from a harm reduction point of view, great! better not take anything though... Lets be real, no E user uses 4 times a year, and in low dosis, that is just not realistic, 1 a month is fine, that should be the spam, but is not like if you go all Crazy and take it every other week for like 2 months you are fuck! thats is uterlly bullshit.. I abuse of it for a whole year, every single weeked for a year, sure, lots of time I had crap for E, but still... I paid the price, depress as a mother fucker I was, but I cut it off, took like 2 or 3 months out of everything and I was fine, now I keep it to once a month.
 
To be quite honest I've noticed only GOOD psychological effects since I started using E a bit excessively, I've used a bit over once a week and besides being a bit tired the day after (usually from continuing to use other drugs and not sleep) I'm completely fine, my mood is improved for a good week following, this holds true even on days I've dosed twice in a row, and I tend to use rather largeish dosages, with next to no CYP-2D6 functionality to boot, so my metabolism is impaired. I realize that from a harm reduction standpoint I'm fucking nuts and do not in any way advocate my irresponsible drug use, I theorize that some combination of high doses of Wellbutrin and being Bipolar II somehow are insulating me from the negative effects others have. I have a friend who after his fist time was hit by crippling depressiom for a good week, whereas I'm fine and dandy.

But I know a good number of people who abused the fuck out of E, and they all recovered, albeit taking a bit after some heavy usage. Though I do still mix up words for a few days after goin two days in a row, that does pass :P
 
From what i've gathered from many videos and documentaries is that once every month or so will not hurt you but abusing it will leave some damage.

Thats the general view point of some but i can tell you it will catch up to you. It is much better to wait around 3 months in between or even more. If you keep using once a month you will definitely start noticing negative side effects, maybe not in the beginning.
