So sorry to hear you're in such pain, re-dist! And OTC painkillers for a broken bone makes no sense to me...

So far today I am peaceful.
 
Confused

I desperately need an outlet for my sadness and confusion. I feel like I always get dicked be some asshole. I've been thinking I must be a magnet to assholes. :?

When I broke both bones in my writing arm, I was given actual pain killers, albeit very small quantity (would have only lasted me 1-2 days).

I know what kind of pain you must be going through and I'm wishing you the best man. Stay strong. Being in so much pain a few years ago really made me suicidal at the time but I got through it and I'm so glad I did.

Drs have never given me anything more than codeine (even when I was in hospital for 3 months), it's pretty shit. I love x-rays. I have a collection of mine and will one day make a bay window curtain of them.

Hah the same thing happened to me a few months ago. I'd broken a knuckle on my right hand, the whole thing was blue and swollen and just hurt like all hell and the doctor told me to take ibuprofen. It's ridiculous. Hope you're dealing okay.

I'm devastated.

It really depends. Big risks usually yield big rewards. It comes down to what the risks are and if you're willing to sacrifice those things if the dream doesn't work out. Though the safe route can be more stable though usually not as satisfying in the long run. "The biggest regrets aren't from the things we did, they're from the things we wished we did". As I don't know your situation my friend, I can't weigh either way.
