^^ Excellent suggestion.

I am very reminiscent of my trip to the states I took this year, and all the wonderful, beautiful, amazing friends I met <3

@Herb: That's one of the options. I still need to renegotiate my mortgage to get the payments into reasonable renting range and such. Plus I need to talk to my real estate agent to see what the market is like. At this point it would be stupid to sell before spring (who wants to move in -20 and snowy weather?!), but if I can make enough off the sale to buy a fixer-upper flat in Berlin, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

ATM: Tryingtomotivate. I have the rest of the week off work, but I also have a bajillion things to do at home. Will be very with myself if I just wind up spending the whole time online. And, yet, here I am.

Blubbing like a girl! Just watched War Horse. Soft as putty me. Daft bloody film, completely foreseeable ending telegraphed, oh, right back in the first few minutes, heart strings tugging-by-numbers from Spielberg here but still Sepher cries at the drop of a hat.

*sniffs*

I enjoyed it! LOL

=D

Ah! That movie is so good! Not exactly realistic from an equestrian's pov, but still good :) the shot where the little girl opens the barn door and they film it through a reflection in the Joey's eye =<3

Herbavore, I'm sorry to hear that the tears won't stop, it probably breaks your son's heart to see you cry, where ever he may be. A ceremony on the water sounds quite happy actually, in that 'it's so beautiful that I'm crying' type, like rain on a sunny day. I meant to tell you but couldn't find the words, to thank you for being a part of your healing process. You have no idea how much that makes my heart go out to you, even if I don't really know how to say it when the moment fits:\ anyways dear, I hope that today is much better than yesterday for you, and remember- each day is a miracle <3 much love.

Red- Did I hear you say apartment?

Absolute win! Really nicely done, yes. Bit of a film buff here, did a bit of film studies at degree level, I was mightily impressed with that shot too. :)

Can you lease it out for a year to cover the payment? Then you would be free to go but you wouldn't lose it either.

This is a really excellent suggestion. Management company should charge you a single digit percentage depending what you need them to do on your behalf, advertising, maintenance, rentr collection etc. 6-8% of gross monthly rent should be very much top end. More than affordable and should return the house to you in the condition they took it. Storage of personal items again very reasonable. Probably cost more than the management co there but still. Least it frees you up a little.

^my husband once got a bearclaw pastry after he passed the biggest professional exam in his field. Everyone else in the office got them too.:\

Ya. I am very good at "appearing to be very good at my job" when I want to be. We had my boss' boss' boss around our parts today, and I had my game at its finest form for that. The guy basically told my boss to give me a new job title with additional responsibilities. This was pretty awkward for my boss, as he does not like me and was about to reject my application for that exact position.
