If you can get it, proper chamomile blossoms (as in the whole herb, not just the tiny bit of sawdust in 'herbal infusion' teabags) is great for both sleep and very vivid dreams. When it was available here, I used to take a press of it - around 3 or 4 tbsp in half a litre of hot water, and drink it over ice about half an hour before bed. The only lousy thing was that I'd usually have to get up at around 3 to pee, but could fall aslseep again easily.
