hosting an lsd party.

I'd say invest in alotta sid, bud, kickass speaker set-up, and some party lights. its fun to trip out on the lights on the ceilings and walls. sometimes u think u can move light....

You should set up each room of the house with a different theme or atmosphere. Make sure have at least one place people can really chill out and lie down if they need to.

Honestly I'm not really sure I'd dig an acid party. When I'm on psychedelics i prefer either a select crowd or by myself. I like to have my psychedelic experience set up perfectly for me, as it is a journey that is deeply effected by yourself and your surroundings. This is not to say I don't enjoy a festival, but that is a completely different environment.

Like others have said, one of the most important aspects of an LSD trip is smoking weed. You should buy an ounce of green or more. Also supply with sweet fruits and sour fruits, and lots of water :) .

fans, lights, posters are all must (especially posters, nowadays in these cold weather I just stay at home trip out with the lights dim and stare into my poster collection :))

have fun !

A chill room with some relaxing music and such just in case anyone starts having a bad trip.

Remember, LSD makes you think. It's recreational but also theraputic.

Crazy masks. Voodoo, mime, mayan... all sorts, masks are always fun.

yeah i dunno about that idea. i also find masks fun but i imagine some people might flip out because of it. seen some of my friends have some minor freak outs because of some tribal masks we were playing with before.

Have at least one quiet comfortable room people can just have some peace and quiet in....

Good music, lights, trippy things...

You could put painters plastic over all the walls and carpet (remove furniture) and let people go crazy with glowpaint....

ok since my boyfriend doesn't want to do it at home im thinking we go to a secluded park? i don't know how that could turn out but, i don't think anyone of us could get lost, but who knows? i like the idea :)

well, it doesn't keep you from being drunk as much as it keeps you from noticing you're drunk. Also, I wasn't suggesting getting drunk, but i usually find few beers pleasant during an LSD trip. Can give you something to do during the come up and can ease a bit of the apprehension that switching over to psychedelic headspace can bring... oh and good dark beer, that's important, none of that light domestic bullmess

A ridicoulous amount of glow sticks to be used as projectiles. Nothing like camping in the woods and being rained on by glow sticks out of no where. Bathing suits are needed if you are somewhere you can swim. Portabal music of course, an infatable bed can be nice for chilling the tent.

Walk explore, look at the stars, feel the plants and grass. Soak in the nature its awesome when you are tripping. Watch the clouds dance and create patterns. Outdoor tripping is completely different from tripping inside. Both are awesome.

Bring fruits and snacks also flavored drinks are always nice. Id suggest alittle beer on top with some smoking.

to mickey mouse - lsd doesnt negate the major effects of alcohol, but it can still be nice and social. Its also calming, and if you do drink enough the trip definatly changes. The lsd is slightly negated but you can feel the alcohol. Its like a funny drunk tripping combination which i like once in awhile but i think many would find unpleasurable.

this sounds heaps more interesting that the usual stuff that goes on in newcastle (from what im lead to believe anyways) hahah....I would watch out and be careful of which park though...alot would be patrolled and the others would be verrrrry dodgy.

its nice to meet another novacastrian anyways!

When I have experienced LSD indoors I found you don't need all that you are discussing, these can add to the trip though. At minimum all you need is to lock yourself away from reality have as much food/drink required and comfy furniture, then turn on some music (Chemical Brothers is recommended excellent experience on LSD) and enjoy the trip for 8 hours.
I did find however at times I felt a bit closed in and this was fixed by going outside for like 15 minutes - so if you have a garden ensure it's accessible.
Your first trip will be fantastic, so hope you enjoy it!

Lulz, this thread sure got necroed... Bicycle Day was April 19, fellas.

On the general topic, I hate hosting new trippers *while I'm also tripping*. If it's a close friend, I'm always happy to welcome them to psychedelia, but I'd prefer to stick to lighter compounds, maybe a little DMT here and there when the trippers seem capable of looking after themselves for a bit, but trippin' balls while your friend decides to climb precariously up a flimsy patio roof that probably won't hold his weight is not a recipe for a good trip (this happened to a close friend of mine not so long ago, breaking in a mutual friend who had never shroomed before).
