Oh fuck, I really don't want to over-clog this thread with a fruit juice debate, but I'm a slave to my impulses. Plus, I have a constructive suggestion for healthy food for the trippers at the party. Listen, anything that's "juice and water and sugar" is not juice. Juice is freshly-squeezed fruit. With lots of fiber and pulp.
My friends and I threw a small acid party like the one the OP's having. We blissed out drinking a juice I had made that afternoon: beets, carrots, celery, cucumber, gala apples, a little wheat grass, a few passion fruits, melons and some other stuff. It felt like drinking energy. And it was phenomenally delicious. I made gallons of it. It wasn't overly expensive since I went light on the exotic ingredients.
I thought it would be a good food because sometimes people have trouble actually eating solids when they're tripping hard but they need nutrients. The only warning is that some people experience stomach cramps when they're on acid, so they might want to go easy on it.
As you might guess, I own a juicer. But you can buy uber-fresh juice at a lot of places, NOT corporate crap jamba juice places: they skimp on the quality of their ingredients, plus they're ridiculously over-priced. I live in a land of locally-sourced, organic ingredients so I'm spoiled but I'm sure it's available elsewhere.
We also got a lot of sorbets and ice creams in a lot of different flavors. Salted caramel, coconut, honey lavender, ginger, mint pineapple, pomegranate. They were mind-blowing.
OP, you're going to have a great party. Awesome suggestions in this thread. Don't forget all of the cushions, and bean bags if you have them. We spread out a bunch of futons on the floor and threw down cushions and fuzzy things and blankets for when people wanted to chill. We spent a few hours outside playing in the cold and wet. Coming back to the cozy den was perfect. Have fun.
