she is concerned about her friend and trying to prevent it happening to other people. So that comment was uncalled for. OP has stated more than once that it was a siezure.
Ive seen literaly 100s of siezures, and even i would be a tad concerned to see blood coming from someones nose and mouth, unless her friend landed flat on her face. Even when people bite thier tongues i've never seen enough blood present in the mouth to leak out through the nose.
Ive seen people fit on mushrooms but only for a few seconds and they've been able to get up a bit dazed and not needed any kind of hospital treatment.
Paramedics would obviously take someone to hospital as a precaution, OP is unclear, but if her friend was still unconscious by the time they'd arrived then clearly this was something serious.
do see your point about the blotters not necessarily being anything other than DOI, but come on, be nice.
I hear what you're saying, and I'm not trying to downplay any injury that may have come to her friend. But look, every time the OP makes a post in these forums, it's about some personal disaster or anxiety that's happened as a result of reckless drug behaviour such as stupid dosing or combining with benzos and alcohol, with lots of "OMG HELP" factor. Just take this with a grain of salt is all I'm saying. Don't get wrapped up in the panic-mode aspect of it all.
There are many reasons why someone could have a nosebleed, and taking a psychedelic is one of the least likely reasons. Having a seizure and then falling over and hitting your face on something could easily cause you to have a nosebleed, as could an excessively elevated blood pressure if there was already a weak mucous membrane separating the venous wall from the outside layer of skin (which is quite common). Some people have anxiety nosebleeds.
That said, I hope the person in question is okay, which I'm sure they will be once they come round. I think the best advice for this person would be just to stay away from such drugs for a long while until they've figured out what's going on.
