HORROR MOVIES ONLY

I watched Demonic the other day, I think it's on prime video or hbo max, can't remember. Pretty much only watched it by virtue of it being a James Wan movie I haven't seen. It was alright, but definitely weaker than his best movies.

Sinners was really good I thought. I guess it's sort of polarizing, people love it or hate it, but I thought it was pretty good. Thematically it was cohesive and it was just a good story I thought, well made.

I'm trying to think of the other ones I've watched lately but don't think I can. I feel like I watch so many that are just random mediocre bullshit that no one in their right mind would watch so I don't even remember what they're called lol

if you haven't seen Bring Her Back or Weapons, I'd definitely recommend those. Both released this year and way above mediocre.

Demonic was alright -- sinners (hated it it!) but that is going to happen to every musical with me.

"Random mediocre bullshit" --- Is exactly how I would describe most modern horror movies. 'The Ritual' with Pacino was pretty good. (Found a new website cuz mine didn't grab the new south park and I was going nuts lol)

Sinister was the last one that really stuck with me. (The sequel(s)? not so much)

"Weapons" was pretty good

"Shadow of God" BAD

"The Hangman" -- Actually pretty decent - the end was a bit lackluster to me. PS I want a spider man v Hangman movie!

I am giving "The Conjuring: Last Rites" a chance right now. (Knowing too much about Ed and Lorraine Warren will ruin those movies for you)) *****Stop reading if you don't want to know why -- CONTEXT POSSIBLE SPOILER****
Ed Warren "Self proclaimed demonologist" who was sleeping with the underage live in nanny and well basically they have been proven frauds. (Arguably, which I am not here to do)

The comment on weapons is a pretty major spoiler. It's not hinted at in the trailers. Maybe put spoiler tags around it?

ill just pull anything past the -- I didn't think it was too much of a spoiler considering one woman's car has w/e w/e painted on it in the first 20 minutes. But FAIR not trying to spoil

"It Follows" was also very good grazi for the suggestions. I always get that confused with "They Live" for some reason and skipped over it.

Got clickbaited on the new conjuring too --- 45 minutes in "This is either the best time period job I have ever seen done or --- Yea bs"

About to watch The Evil Of Frankenstein rn.

Wouldn’t the monster also be Frankenstein since it was created by Dr. Frankenstein? That keeps me up at night

You can't be serious about horror unless you've seen the original Hammer horror films
  • Dracula (also known as Horror of Dracula) (1958)
  • The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958)
  • The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959)
  • The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959)
  • The Mummy (1959)
  • The Brides of Dracula (1960)
  • The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960)
  • The Curse of the Werewolf (1961)

I love hammer films. Out of those ive seen the hound of the baskervilles and dr.jekyl
