Substance was good af, the ending almost made me throw up tho
I watched Demonic the other day, I think it's on prime video or hbo max, can't remember. Pretty much only watched it by virtue of it being a James Wan movie I haven't seen. It was alright, but definitely weaker than his best movies.
Sinners was really good I thought. I guess it's sort of polarizing, people love it or hate it, but I thought it was pretty good. Thematically it was cohesive and it was just a good story I thought, well made.
I'm trying to think of the other ones I've watched lately but don't think I can. I feel like I watch so many that are just random mediocre bullshit that no one in their right mind would watch so I don't even remember what they're called lol
I saw your list earlier contained a lot of stuff I like, like it follows, so I trust your judgement I'll check em outif you haven't seen Bring Her Back or Weapons, I'd definitely recommend those. Both released this year and way above mediocre.

"Weapons" was pretty good --
"Shadow of God" BAD
"The Hangman" -- Actually pretty decent - the end was a bit lackluster to me. PS I want a spider man v Hangman movie!
I am giving "The Conjuring: Last Rites" a chance right now. (Knowing too much about Ed and Lorraine Warren will ruin those movies for you)) *****Stop reading if you don't want to know why -- CONTEXT POSSIBLE SPOILER****
Ed Warren "Self proclaimed demonologist" who was sleeping with the underage live in nanny and well basically they have been proven frauds. (Arguably, which I am not here to do)
You can't be serious about horror unless you've seen the original Hammer horror films
- Dracula (also known as Horror of Dracula) (1958)
- The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958)
- The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959)
- The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959)
- The Mummy (1959)
- The Brides of Dracula (1960)
- The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960)
- The Curse of the Werewolf (1961)
I believe the monster is more like a foster child. Frankenstein just by name but unrelated."The monster created by Frankenstein?" I mean he isn't blood related? I guess he would be (Whoever the majority of he parts were gathered from - maybe just the brain?)
Hound of Baskervilles was so good.I love hammer films. Out of those ive seen the hound of the baskervilles and dr.jekyl
