These types of stories just need to not be posted in DiTM anymore. I can't take it. It makes me want to go Oklahoma City bomber on Congress sometimes. I'm not serious, but it gets across how frustrating it is to see a topic that I care greatly about being shunned and spoken about like it would destroy the world if all of a sudden drugs were legal.
What this and every country needs to do is educate the youth on the dangers of drugs and how to be safe when using them and to regulate them just like alcohol and tobacco is. If an educated public is given access to these substances, there won't need to be a fear of people all over doing heroin just because it's legal because the public will understand the risks. Then the people who choose to use, will be able to limit those risks with intelligent practices when using. Plus, an industry will be created and be a boon to the economy. The only downfall is the police, DEA and prisons will lose out. It would literally cut the number of incarcerations each year by at least 50%, possibly more, but I don't have any numbers on non violent drug incarcerations there are each year.
