The feijoa smell is methyl benzoate. This is actually the usual 'ice' smell people talk about, some people describe it as being like wintergreen or menthol too. Like any smell though it's indicative of an impurity - ideally there shouldn't be any methyl benzoate/benzoic acid left in your meth - it's irritating when inhaled, but it doesn't take much to give your stuff a smell.

Thanks for clearing that up! makes sense too, prob the way they extracted the pseudo from the pills!? only I find it had a nice comedown tho, didnt have aching muscle joints, didnt sweat a bucket of water and blahblah. It had to be reacted the 'hypophos' way, cos its easy when you knw the cooks have done it the redphos way!! you get achey limbs and the comedown is just total shite. Live long and Prosper!

yeah i've had real good quality shards too. i too have bricked my phone when i first got it, then fixed it then bricked it again then fixed it again, this all in one night on the shardie. go android ;D

I have had quality shards right now, but i hate with smoking it takes hours to reach the high achievable through IV. i spent at least 4 x 15 min periods in the toilet at my work function tonight in the city,(some close colleaugues geting fucin suss here,as who takes 4 14 min shits in 2 hours?) but was not that fucked. Until about 4 hours later, when i used to reach that level in 4 seconds in IV.

I think I might have got that kind of shard that justs takes so long to smoke - but whats the point if it smokes long but isn't even strong enough to give mad rush after every 'proper puff?'.

(anyways fucked now, but god did i have to hard pipe dick in the toilets for ages, would be nice to have pureer shit that smokes hard but always gives u the chills on ur neck and shit after evry puff. so the thought of IVv wont be attractive again. IV meth is fantasticallly heavy shit.

It was Fun to see Some Colleagues straight, Just knowing I was methed/dunk to the mutha fucka but cause i make good $ for company and know when to leave after years of 'public practice', before completley being obvious with my highness (start slapping female boss's/ friends asses in full public view, with good results often,.. or sometimes or not. and offering drugs (hard ones to vunerable souls). and ) - never get in trouble cause deep down they love it, even though they won't admit it.

PLus if u work hard, u get always get back exactly what u put into life.

shit, i just realised that I have some average well store tabs in freezer( 1 tan man which will saved for the day after my wedding, amd seven still of he ones i posted back last year.) but also about half point DMT (which I kept since bought like 7 months ago) as the breakthrough was how should i say? 'the most intense experience, and have held on and waited until my soul felt it was right to go there again.

I have a feeling my soul wants to break again,..... oh lord help me......

I have both, but i'm think the DMt over LSD as I find I waste the potential of LSD when i'm this toasted. have plenty vodka and xanax bars if things get 'heavy' but i think i might try and do that meth sleap for an hour or 2(mentally awake but body resting type shit) as we know meth comedowns aND psche can = mind pain, then take vodka/bars only if I need too.

I could see meth + DMT being enjoyable in some ways really and if things do go bad even without vodka and xanax at least you don't have to worry about feeling like that for the next 8 hours
 
yeh true.. that was my logic too... think I'm going to do it.. i just got this headache, so took 2 standard neurofren, 1 shot vodka, and about 600ml ice cold water. the ice is all gone (even smoke the pipe residue), so going to have a normison 2 x 10mg and then try and break through.

I bet this will intense but I have a feeling i will forgot a lot og detail due to drugs consumed today.

fuck the acid. i will feel good for naybe 5 min then sinking reality i have no more meth will kick inn and i will be up for either pain or wasted experience by benzoing it out.

u can't benozo out a dmt break tho...
 
Signs of good or high purity meth when smokeing. eg (lines in reformation)

hi all , im sure im not the only one who has smoked with a "shard critic" here , you no how some people really look for the melt down and its reformation ? . eg straight lines , jaggered lines or even a shineing glisen . i would just like to here some educated or in the no knowlegde on the signs you can pick up on while smokeing your crystals or even been able to differentiate good from bad because i no there getting smarter and smarter with there cutting agence .

Haha, any dickhead who torched more than a few crackies tends to think they are a shard critic. I halfway consider mysef one but I am sure there are real crackheads on this site who could give a greater detailed review on your average batch of gear than I can. I am going to merge this with the Higher Purity Crystal Methamphetamine thread, since you are asking about signs of purity it does seem rather fitting.

I wouldn't expect a definitive answer because someone elses gear could have greatly different cutters in it, which impacts not only purity but how many hits you get out your gear and therefore the amount of meth you can get in per toke. It probably isn't possible to be a true shard critic in this day and age with all the new cutters, theres mulitple reasons why your shit might burn, taste or recrystallise the way that it does and all we can do is speculate.

For the sake of what I consider to be interesting I will be interested to see some shard fiends take on this, but that said even the most experienced ice head can only GUESS what the hell is in your shit, regardless of how it behaves when it hits heated glass.
 
^ What are the new washing agents? I stopped using ice before isop etc were introduced as cutters so I have no experience with them except to know that your normal acetone wash or A/B extraction wont remove them.

^Hell yes !! There are people I just wont get on it with for that exact reason. My ex is a shocker, just talks at you and you find yourself just going "yea bu.. well i nev... yeah I agr...." I wont offer him anything ever again after his last visit.. oh yeah AND he broke my pipe after holding it for what seemed forever.

I'd probably disagree with ya there d_m, more so on BL then generally. I reckon there'd be enough old schoolers on here who've been around long enough to see most (if not all common) cutters and neat methamphet (if not the specific enantiomers), and could discern the difference (relatively) easily.

Don't forget not everyone BL use/know/study drug recreationally ;) A few formally study/work in the field also (and hence have access to things us laymens may not :P ).

As d_m mentioned, it's not just one thing which would give you the answer - smell, taste, "type of" smoke produced, melting temp., recrystalisation temp/time, "constituent division/combination" (whether the cutter easily/quickly divides from the active drug - common with cutters such as MSG [which has a low melting temp compared with methamphet] - and whether it recombines), plus a few others. Well, these are the "signs" I use! :\ However, more knowledgeable people on here may be able to give more in-depth examples/suggestions. :)

Worst ever experience like this was when me and a few people got some pills. They were strong MDMA but also had a little meth.

This girl that one of the people brought with him was on SSRIs, so the mdma was completely blocked for her, and she munched down a ton of pills meaning she was speeding hard from the meth only.

She would NOT shut up. Didn't give any of us a chance to just sit back and enjoy the MDMA and munt talk between ourselves. The main topics she was keen on discussing was all the fucked up situations she's been in (eg: beaten by boyfriend, how she got pregnant at a young age, how she was sexually and physically abused as a child, how every friend she's ever had has fucked her over...and much more of this kind of stuff)

It was a terrible experience...we even tried our best to explain in the most nicest way that she was bringing us down, but she wouldn't have none of that :(

A good rule of thump is if one's on any form of CYP2D6 then (most - or more specifically other CYP2D6 drugs, or which there are many) drugs are best stayed clear. Actually, I'd generalise that to any anti-depressants, stay away from any recreational drugs! Think of it like this, you're (or in this case your friend) is on anti-depressants to fix mental/emotional issues*, so adding another drug into the mixed, which will alter cognitive/thought/etc processes, couldn't be a good thing! In a "natural" state you're not thinking "straight" let alone when on psychoactive drugs.

And tbh, she's lucky that's all the side effects she felt combining those two. :\


* AD's aren't only prescribe for just things like depression/anxiety/etc. there are cases when they have a beneficial effect for pathophysiological issues. :) however irrelevant, put it here for completeness.

Dunno man, i find that after a while you tend to notice certain characteristics about good gear that basically dont change and, thus you tend to apply when anylysing the bag you just bought or smoked, with. How much money your handing over pp versus what the dealer type person tells ya, over (and, this is one is cruical) - how WELL you know that person(s) is anyones best hope of judging i think - if after that, you find a nasty surprise about the drugs ya just bought, well... you need to find a new dealer(s)
Either way, if you arent getting that 'feeling' - that now alllll too familiar 'ping', coming on after puffing even less than a 3rd of a point - Then it aint that topshelf, ducknuts kuta yo!
